brown goose is intended to be used with squads, so i would wager yes, it does give hard cover to them
as for the goslings, they are indeed drones produced by the grey goose, so any systems and talents that apply to drones you deploy should work on them (they only wouldnt apply if it explicitly says somewhere that they dont, and i dont see any such clause for the goslings)

So, I found Zalewski about a month ago and I've wanted to do a campaign for it where I force my players to only use Wa.Zal and GMS, BUT last night I had a bolt of lightning moment and wrote a small mission outline for a Wa.Zal themed campaign and I'm really hype about it. It's basically just Portal 2 with Hermann Zalewski VI as Cave Johnson.

I could use some advice. I got a friend who wants to play the TR-10S Navy Projection, but is not sure on how to play it effectively, and after looking at it myself Im a bit lost as well.
Im thinking that technophile and black thumb might be a good idea for it, but Im not sure if Analogue Core prevents you from using technophile.
Analogue Core prevents the mounting of the Zero-SP NHP System you get from Technophile.
Also understand that, as written, the Navy Projection doesn't function as intended, and probably needs a re-write:

How do y'all run the Purple Flytrap Core Active? Do the "you charge" and "your team charges" effects trigger at the same time or do you charge, and then everyone who is in your sensors gets to charge too?

I think he had said something to someone about "if you want to have pocket money, just create some content to lancerpg and put it in Pilot.net, those people throw money at everything that is uploaded there"

I still use Wa.Zal, simply because I separate the creator from their content, but I'm not going to lie, knowing that the creator is not the best of people has made me not feel guilty for doing certain things with Wa.Zal. (of course, to use only in my campaign)
I mean my goofy little concept was just loosley based on how I saw the character from the lcp (basically Cave Johnson from Portal), but it will just take a small amount of tweaking to make it free of that influence. I was going to message them to see if they wanted to collab and let me use their character name and setting, but knowing that they have that sort of regard for their work, happy to do it on my own instead.

Not sure if this is the right place for it but I was looking at the Serjeant talent and specifically the way heat works with the Mech tag, because if you go with perfect soldier and take the mech tag and loose the biological tag... there aren't rules for something that is taking heat without a heat cap? so how would that work? would it just be energy damage anyways?
If I remember correctly if someone does not have heat capacity, no matter what it is, it automatically becomes energy damage.
But if it is not like that, not the slightest idea, although I have players who use talent, they never take that optional.
mm okay thanks! i wasn't sure what the rules were for that, cause it would be neat to let them use heat based weapons but yeah that energy damage is too rough
something curious, in my campaign I have a modified version of it, which gives you more options, among them the talent gives you the ability to change the AP of the anti-Armor Weapon for Blast 1 and another optional allows the Squad to Double its Sensor range and do Lock-On and Bolster Quick Actions.

In my campaign, I use Squad Kits module, so I also allow the player who has that talent at level 3 to use the Squad Kits Optionals.
It's funny to see a Squad pulling an anti-tank gun carriage across the battlefield.
