Operation Twilit Hammer is an unofficial supplement for Lancer: Battlegroup, representing a three-stage introductory campaign for new players, as well as a substantial addition of new player-side content - including multiple new ships from battleship to frigate size, new superheavy and primary weapons, new Wings, new Ace Upgrade options, and a new Advancement.

OTH includes branching options that ensure replayability at the same table, where a single play-group can encounter any one of three finales and meet the campaign's main antagonists in any order, in vistas ranging from fighting in front of the Dawnline Shore's blink station to in orbit around an asteroid base. A total of six missions in the three-stage structure are provided, along with full guidance for GMs on suggested enemy compositions, roleplaying the main antagonists at the table, and the branching structure of the campaign.

OTH is currently finalizing its development after substantial testing and addition, and depending on interest, a Kickstarter may be created in the near future in order to obtain art to bring the supplement to life.

To folks following OTH's development - 1.6 is going to be dropping soon with some of the biggest additions yet, in the form of three new capital ships along with some clarifications around the HA Augustus and the HORUS Banshee. Stay tuned!

Operation Twilit Hammer 1.6 has now released!

1.5 --> 1.6 Changelog:

  • Added the HA Harris-class Orbital Denial Vessel, a powerful controller battleship that can deny enemy reinforcements

  • Added the FKS Aconitum-class Battlecruiser, an exceptionally fast battleship that controls the gyre with positioning

  • Added the FKS Dioscorea-class Frigate, a payload frigate that can saturate enemy defenses in area damage

  • Made EWACS Wing passive 1/turn to prevent interaction with the TAC/COMM Scout Package Ace Squadron optional; clarified that multiple EWACS Wings do not stack

  • Changed the HA Augustus's extra damage from its trait to apply after Critical instead of before; minor limited maneuver nerf from 4 added Heat to 3 added Heat

  • Clarified that the HORUS Banshee's ability applies to the whole enemy battlegroup, as per normal Sever Comms wording

  • Minor, non-mechanical wording changes and typo fixes

  • Removed the ghost of John Creighton Harrison II (hopefully permanently this time, what with the two new Karrakin ships)
