Overall, the first half of Dustgrave is pretty fun.

Party:
Zheng with Tempest Charged Blade
Pegasus with HMG
Raleigh, standard handcannon build + Howitzer
Emperor, standard build

From a combat perspective:
Bloodsport is great fun, the enemies spreading out helps ease the sheer number of them. Zheng got to have fun being the designated Pyro destroyer. Unfortunately Brutus was a little underwhelming because of the sheer number of wrecks on the field making it hard for him to push through and get to PCs

Magenta Favor was interesting and I think one slight issue with the otherwise fun setup was that with the map I used it meant almost for the first two rounds, only the Peg Smartgun and the Howitzer got a shot off on the enemy. Having some Berserkers start early and leaving the Sentinel as a late reinforcement may be better? Otherwise it's just standard movement for the other players as they watch the Engineer set up.

Elevator Pitch was a fun fight but most of the fighting was concentrated around the lower left quarter, which meant a lot of the map was unused, especially as basically all the enemies prefer to be in close range. Once they stick to the subaltern it's a fight or die situation. I don't know if there's a good way to keep the flavour while changing this, and the players had fun regardless.

On a story note, the players have sided strongly with Magenta Red but gone with the Talons for the next mission. I think it's interesting that if they distrust the PCPA from the start (something they're inclined to do based on Stavros dismissing them and Creighton not wanting them involved) then they're given little incentive to disbelieve the Talons' story for why they're there. One of them even commented "Oh haha, classic setup, we were fighting the good guys by mistake".

as important as Juan Tismon is, nobody really cared to visit him again 😦

My last question was just: on the Horror Template, if Abhorrent Redundancies triggers, does damage from the triggering attack 'roll over' into it?
