Because you can get a purified hundo easy from 13/13/13 or better. You can only have one mega in a team which means shadow is the best option for the 5 other slots. Last, hundo shadow is super rare

Go look at your shadows, you probably have other that you can purify for a hundo

Like in your example if you did 2 3-turn moves and threw they'd get 3 free turns, instead you can use a 3rd 3-turn move.

The exception is if you don't want the damage to register. If you throw after 1 (or 2) there and opp pokemon faints, it doesn't do damage, but after 3 and throw they can't catch or throw but their 2nd move does damage no matter what.

Attack influences cp the most. in capped leagues like GL and UL, you want low atk and high defensive stats so that you can power up your pokemon more before hitting the limit. a 0/15/15 would end up higher level than a 15/15/15, thus having more bulk so it can give and take hits better.

the only difference is if a pokemon maxes out beneath the limit like umbreon for example maxing at around 2400 as a hundo level 50. for UL you'd want a hundo umbreon, while for GL you'd still want the 0/15/15. for master league you always want a hundo or close to it.
