is it better to focus on high cp or high apprecial? I have a 3000 tyranitar that its only 1 star and I use it on battle often and it does a decent job, I get that if it was 3* it would be stronger but does it affect that much?

If lets say your tyranitar has 200 attack with 0 in attack IV, and 215 attack with 15 in attack IV, there's roughly a 7% difference in damage output. If you would compare tyranitars with same CP and different IV that is

Yeah exactly. The 15 attack difference between worst and best IV gets less noticable the higher base stats.

Well.
It used to be 12.5K HP, but in 2018 when they changed how the Defense and Hp calculations were calculated (right before PVP was introduced to balanece it out, blissey and chansey got a huuuge nerf and Gen 4 was released..) they changed from 12.5K to 15K HP. (The reason why so many was able to solo Rhydon, Tyranitar, Absol, Golem.) I did solo Absol and Tyranitar with a team of maxed out Machamps. Barely was able to do Rhydon but I didn't have a team of maxed out Kyogre.

Yes, like Attack Deoxys got such a low HP and Defese stat enve though it's Attack is 114 attack higher than Mewtwo but gets balanced out due to Psycho Boost being a terrible move. And Mewtwo can stand wayy longer.

And then so many struggle with Lugia (because of it's such high Defense stat) that makes it so difficult.

Smack Down from Rampardos mabye does 20 damage, but because of it's defense, lets say multiplies it by 0.7x so it only does 14 damage. The higher the defense, the lower the multiplier will be.

Invite people, wait 20-30 seconds and make sure another player (it can be anyone) is in the raid lobby. Then leave the lobby and immediately re-enter. You’ll be able to invite another batch of 5 people @dawn tartan

The last raid I hosted I opened it to 10 (9+me). We only got to 7 total (6+me). Before I sent the invites, one of the people chosen started harping that I should "get more". I really didn't know what he meant besides just wait around for more to join. Trouble with that is the longer you wait, the more likely it is for people to bail. Anyway, he said more than once to "get more!" Is there an actual command or trick to bringing more people in?

When it comes to PVP, a perfect 15/15/15 hundo is not always what you want. For leagues with a capped CP such as great league (1500) and ultra league (2500) The attack IV greatly influences your CP so you want a Pokemon with high defense and HP IVs but a low attack. This is so you can reach a higher HP breakpoint. The attack IV being low that does not mean your Pokemon is weak. Every Pokemon already has their base stats, the IVs just increases them. What matters most is getting your Pokemon to a higher level. Getting your Pokemon to reach closest to 1500 is the key and their attack IV will influence whether the Pokemon reaches 1500 CP at level 36 or level 40. Higher-level Pokemon means higher HP so they will always have the edge in Pvp.
