yo imma say this has got to be one of the most wholesome animes with strong side character development. even small villains and demons have backstories.
basically it's about a young prince who is born deaf and weak but he wants to be a great king. without revealing too much, this is his story becoming strong in his own way even though he has all these handicaps. there's surprisingly a good amount of world building in this show. done by WIT studio (which also did attack on titan and great pretender).
