I recommend Chihayafuru if you are okay with karuta.
Backflip! is also nice, Yuki Hayashi also did the OST here.

If you want to continue with the volleyball watch 2.43: Seiin high school boys volleyball Team , about rugby you can watch all out !!, soccer days or the famous blue lock , skateboarding is skate the infinity, soft tennis I think I’m not sure is stars align and swimming is Free!

I recommend Run with the Wind. The composer (Yuki Hayashi) for HQ also did the ost for this anime. It's about running and has similarly uplifting themes.

Couple of other recommendations: Ping Pong the Animation (eccentric, fast and amazing) and Megalo Box s1 and s2 (boxing, broody, hype, underdog story).

I'd recommend Run with the wind, prince of tennis, blue lock, tsurune, free and kuroko no basuke.

There's this old sports anime which I loved watching was Capeta. It's about go-kart racing.

Run with the wind is excellent, though I wouldn’t say it’s like haikyuu or most other sports anime. To me it’s a drama that is centered around running. It’s definitely one of my favorite series of all time.

Big Windup / Ookiku Furikabutte is more like a traditional sports anime , and it’s what got me into sports anime in general, way before haikyuu. It’s about a middle school baseball team, and like Karasuno, they are underdogs who want to win the tournament. It’s really really good and it somehow makes baseball exciting haha

I liked Kuroko's Baketballs, One Outs (this one will not have any other seasons unfortunately), Kabbadi, Bluelock. There are others but these are just some I like. (sport anime are my fav lol)

i recommend Kuroko's Basketball from the name you can probably tell but its a sports anime based on basketball, Blue lock quite a popular one about soccer, Yuri on ice a short ice skating anime, Sk8 the infinity a skateboarding anime, Free! a sports anime abt swimming
