The way bots are right now is pretty annoying. It would be cool to see bots keep proper distance from players instead of rushing towards them, along with finding more ways to make bots emulate human player behavior. This would make them more effective to the game, seeing bots won't be stuck in doorways, causing doors to stay open, along with providing a larger challenge to the playerbase on both mobile and pc. I don't know if the bots are built the way they are in order to accomodate for mobile players (i dont play mobile but i assume i would suck at the controls) or if its just a lack of technical experience on terms of programming bots.

Idk, the map is pretty big so pathfinding would be hard to program

If you notice the bots tend to follow players, this is to help them actually have direction as opposed to them just randomly roaming around

#

This is why you sometimes see bots following bots

#

Once they find a suitable weapon to pick up, they pathfind towards that and then pathfind towards the nearest player, which shouldn't be too far considering they usually follow players

#

Then they begin shooting once they reach a certain range and if there's no obstacles in the way

#

This is why you sometimes see bots staring at another bot between a wall

#

They pathfind to each other but they don't shoot because there's an obstacle between them

#

The door thing is just a simple solution to help bots pathfind to players in houses

#

I think it would take a pretty big toll on the server if bot programming was improved because there's going to be a lot more to compute @kind frost

#

Plus it's difficult to create a fool-proof bot program

@heady portal as somebody who's been playing professionally for 6 months, FPS makes a huge difference to your playstyle. Jessey, a very good player, used to have 60 fps, and upon getting a better PC, proceeded to take a 1v3, winning his clan the game

if 30 fps to 60 fps, yes, but if 60 fps to 144 (or 120) fps isnt it. 60 fps is already good enough for you, and input lag is not much noticeable

the exploding bullet isn't good in a lot of situations either, because in any close range battle, you have a high probability of hurting yourself, whereas an ar 15 can be use in a close range to fend off opponents, and an AK can too.

and what im saying is that if the devs are struggling to make money then they should integrate some way for the user to go through a process that rewards both the player and the dev team, that being an incentive to interact with ads by the means of in-game currency, which will generate ad revenue for the devs
this way the people that cant directly buy gems will still be able to support the game in a way that rewards their actions
and its not like watching an ad is gonna give you a bunch of gems, it be better if viewing an ad would give you an amount that's low (im looking at less than 10 gems)

20 to 40 ms is pretty good, the delay is almost non existent, doors are quick to respond, your movement feels great, its prefect, 70 around the point where it gets a little harder to play

just a thonk but what if you reduce the healing time for bandages but decrease the healing amount by a little bit so that it is the same healing rate but less time so that if you are in a fight you can quickly get a small amount of hp back instead of waiting 2.2 sec, which could be enough time for them to kill you. You could increase amount back to 10
