Mmk. I've got some experience with game dev. Even made my own io game which started as a university project, but it's not live right now because it wasn't finished and things got too hectic. Now the semester is wrapping up and I have much more free time.

I'm even working on a dependency injection based game framework that will enable future online games to be developed with ease.

Also I didn't want to bother Sneeza and jeremiah by PMing them because they probably get a bunch of PMs as it is

Also technically HTML5 only provides the basic website structure and the canvas. Everything else, based on what I looked it, seems to be a Unity client wrapped in asm.js (which is terrible compared to just using wasm, but idk if Unity supports wasm yet).

Clarification: HTML5 is still needed for the canvas and basic layout, and I think JS is still needed for the webgl calls, but wasm could do the rest. It might even be able to make the webgl calls but I forget if it can or if the webgl calls need to be delegated to js

Chrome doesn't have to support unity.

Basically unity compiles a game client as assembly instructions. Those (appear to be) read and executed by some javascript known as asm.js

#

asm.js is kinda like the predecessor to web assembly (wasm) which allows code to execute at near-native speeds. Possibly as fast as Java can execute.

Well html5 used to make the canvas (and other basic structuring). Javascript obtains a webgl context from the canvas

#

Unity game client, executed by asm.js, makes the calls to the webgl graphics context to draw things to the canvas using the graphics card or the software-based fallback if a OpenGL GPU is not available.

#

btw I personally have not used Unity (I haven't heard the best words about it tbh) but everything I am telling you is based on a little bit of gentle prodding I did. I was curious to know how the game ran in the client. Mainly because my laptop with an 8th gen i7 and a GTX 1050M in performance mode was lagging on this game whereas my desktop runs it just fine.

Unity is actually pretty good. It's just that it's not always in the best light because the free version of Unity puts a watermarks (kinda) which causes for people to associate Unity with little kids that tried to make a copy of Stack but failed miserably because of a camera misplacement. @nova notch

Have squads and duos been fixed, where when you kill a player, you actually get that kill added to your kill count? Or does it only count when both of the team mates have been killed, and then only counts as 1 kill?

How to Fix FPS/Frames Issues:

- Do a basic cleanup of your device
