the client still has some problems, but the big ones that people had been complaining about forever (latency/lag issues, no 144hz support) were at least improved significantly, as well as streamlining the invite process. People had also had the role for about a week leading up to the release im p sure so it wasnt like it only meant something for one day. Keep in mind this is an incredibly small team supporting a game with millions of players. I also highly doubt Yang actually doesn't know how the reporting system works.

And as for the excessive paying for skins and stuff, that is rly the only sustainable model that companies can use when owning/operating a free to play game. Also the whole whether a skin is trash or not is heavily subjective.

people had been testing the client for weeks before

on the 2nd part, i would say you are right, no one asked for a close sniper/wall hit fix. In my opinion , the sniper was not a very big deal, and the wall hit was an unintentional bug (unless the devs said something else)

on the reporting part, 100% agree, i don't even bother to report teams because they will not get punished. Also there is nowhere where I can find a rules/code of conduct anywhere on the ZR page or discord for the actual game, so does that mean teaming is allowed?

for the final part about gems, the devs need to make money somehow. youre not supposed to get the battle pass without paying- if you could do that then who would buy it?! The pass being priced for $10 is a fair deal imo, the only part i don't agree with, is a whole mythic set costing over $10, and a chest of the knights which is complete RNG for $5. But if you don't like it, then you don't buy it I guess. And I think that they are good to give some nice items FOR FREE in the free pass, you get 5 skins and 2 melees which is easily gotten. Overall: it's needed or they can't make money.

I tried downloading it onto the C drive which it will happily do, but when I tried to copy paste it over to my D drive from there, it denies moving the exe file. Says I don't have permissions even though I'm the only account on this pc

So it's the exe it doesn't wanna install cause it's not in a appdata/user directory
