#The UI gets overwritten

When displaying text or art with a script, errors, quest progress, potion buttons, etc. become invisible.
I'd like to be able to adjust this with a script so that the existing display isn't overwritten.

What is your script doing? Are you clearing the screen?

For example, if you display text like this image, the potion buttons and quest progress will not be visible.
For example, if you write a script like

>b0,0,aaa

I would like it to be displayed behind these.

Well I don't think it's possible to print behind those layers. You could try messing around with the hat print >h which prints to the same layer as the player's head
But yeah it's easier just to print around existing game UIs
