I loaded up my save file for 0.8.8 today and find out that my Quill story progression had been reverted to the point I started the last session at. Out of concern, I checked my card backs and found out that those were still there, showing that the game had saved the global file but not Quill's. (Screenshot shown to highlight the situation) Saves attached, though in a case of short sightedness I played a bit ahead. Ziggy's Accolades are still not complete despite the card back being unlocked so the evidence of the bug is still present.

Had the same problem happen to me. Seems like saving before returning to main menu ensures that you don't lose data.
