My playstation kept crashing because of the game, like i would have just turned my ps4 on after it being off for a while and the game would crash. It eventually led to my 20 hour save file corrupting, what can i do to get the file back?

You are likely about to learn why USB storage back-ups from the console are required and not optional these days...
You can't get your save back if you never back up the save.....
If you dont have PS+ you're required to do manual save back-ups as any SSD or HDD storage can fail at any time and take save games with them...
Due to power outages and games like fall out 4 and No Mans sky save corruption is not new on PlayStation consoles...
PS+ uploads save games to the cloud these can then be redownloaded to the console if the corrupted save is found in time. The cloud save can then overwrite the old bad save..
USB memory sticks can be used on PS4/PS5 to store back ups of save games even if you don't have PS+ this means you only lose some gameplay hours not all of it as you will with no backups...
