can you share a screenshot of your mods folder?
yes one sec
Documents\Polymorph Games\Foundation\mods
oh you have oneDrive synching there? Yeah that's why it restores itself when the game is trying to delete it, oneDrive doesn't understand that the deletion from the game should be applied and redownloads the mod from your cloud
ah thank you, i despise one drive some days
but for the manual installation your FoundationEBF folder should look like this on the inside, you seem to have an extra folder level with the foundationebf-hybr folder
but anyway I would highly recommend deleting the manual installation and installing it from within the game itself, then if you get any error let me know
also yeah either disable oneDrive synching from the Polymorph Games folder or use this launch option to move your foundation data elsewhere in your pc: -userpath C:\foundationdata
Okay thank you, I'll mess around with things and let you know how it turns out. Thank you for the quick response ๐
The ghost mod is still there, I have deleted the whole foundation folder in one drive so I know that's not doing anything. I still can't uninstall EBF it just keeps reinstalling everytime I reopen the game
so your mods folder is currently empty?
try deleting the whole mods folder then start the game, there should be no mods installed
then you should be able to install them using the in-game menu
So I still have it installed locally, I just deleted it from one drive to prevent it from backing it up. I searched through the mod folder, found the one that's EBF and deleted it, going to see if that fixed it,
Fixed it
good good, now you should be able to install it normally again from the game
The mod file was just refusing to uninstall itself for whatever reason, threw it into the bin and that fixed it
when you have the manual installation the game can't uninstall it, you have to delete the folder manually
manual installations are a pain to manage ๐
Oh it wasnt the manual installation, it was the auto install that wasn't getting deleted
but you had the folder named FoundationEBF the auto installation with a folder named 936477 didn't exist to begin with in your screenshot
When I took the screenshot I had both installed. I deleted the manual install, it didn't work, nuked the one drive folder, didn't work, then I had to delete the 936 file and that fixed it
oh you mean the modio-936477.json
I used that to figure out which mod it was, then I deleted the folder, there were two of them. But now that I fixed that my game is crashing on map gen ๐ญ
I think I just have to configure my mods differently then I'll be good
