#Bridge pathing issue: Villagers forced to go straight for a bit after city bridge ends

As the title says, after I built a city bridge to an island the villagers appear to continue walking "along the bridge" for some distance even when the bridge ends/goes underground. This is not present on the other end of the bridge. Even though its not an issue for me this time I can see it becoming a problem for others as the behaviour is unexpected. The expected behaviour would be that they can go right/left right after the bridge ends visibly. In my case the villagers/builders needed to go down to the shore/beach to build on a Manor House in the water.

I guess that this is a low prio bug/quirk, so let me know if you'd still like me to upload the save file.

Forgot to add that the bridge end on the island goes "into" a rising slope, in case this somehow affects how the bridge pathing works. I realised that its hard to see in the screenshot from this angle.

I have the exact same problem! I will share a screen and my save when I have time

Looks like it’s due to the bridge ending actually being underground, so the AI believes they aren’t off the bridge yet until that point

If any devs are reading, a fix could be that the AI change path finding behavior back to normal IF on bridge then touches landscape, because that means the bridge has collided with the landscape and can be traversed
