the only other thing i will warn about for skipping is that the cgs in the collection menu only register if you start playing a cg. If you skipped a cutscene that would lead into a cg, you're going to skip that trigger and miss getting it in collections. But you can always replay the story mission at the cost of extra stamina to get it in the future.

and fulfilling collection isn't too important (there can be slight crystals but you can get this in other ways too)

if you want to speed through story without missing cgs then you'll have to click/mash rather than skip (once the cg starts, you can skip though)

SW will take forever to farm from WT until you break through

whereas badum will help right away

so if you're getting both getting badum first is better

If you’re willing to reroll the reroll target of choice is Badum, otherwise you can consider either pulling for her normally or just saving until you can get the free Senadina

And paws isn’t a general RoO support, she can only support FDD there

So whatever RoO valk gets released next won’t use her

If you really need to use FDD dps for some reason you could also do FDD VBM SW. it wouldn’t really be good but better than VBS

stress test: another stage based but strictly wants specific characters, which gives you pulling cards

Loosely speaking I don't disagree if you must pick now. However the true long term conservative answer is a bit different.

ideally you leave the boxes alone if you don't need the atk boost from either means atm.

• maybe in the far future once you do find a situaition where those small stats are important, there will be better ways for you to obtain the weapons you're missing, and you can dedicate the boxes you see now to affixes later on. There's only so many weapons, whereas affixes can be an endless resource cost sink.

The overall idea is to have both

• all the weapons eventually...
• together with high affixes...
  when it actually matters, but how this matters can be very arbitrary far in the game. It'll depend on all other aspects of your account, the disturbance value of the abyss, and what other players you are grouped with

If you immediately select an option from a box without actually needing what it provides, you may put yourself at a disadvantage by wasting a source of materials that you fall short of later on.

This applies to almost every option box such as:

• Stigma Option boxes
• Material Option boxes
• Blazing Assembly Option (ELF Option box)
  • ELF Part Option boxes
• Weapon Option boxes (Divine Key or Beginner Weapon Option box)

Before selecting something from a selection box, think twice if you actually need what is offered and if you really need it right now!

Characters under the Astral Ring System will have one ring type (Specialization), and one or multiple tags (Attributes) that will determine how they can form teams. This system is only activated if a Character with Astral Ring is set as the leader. When activated:

• the leader's ring type will decide the team's playstyle.
• the team will benefit from effects (e.g., Stigmata buffs) that require Astral Ring.
• the team will gain access to Stellar Outburst, a high damage output state you can enter after charging enough energy (Astral Ring Intensity).

Usually, you will want to focus your crystals on getting new valyries and their gear first as a F2P

You will get more long term mileage and use for your account progression by investing in new valkyries rather than older ones that are weaker and will be replaced sooner

i eventually told you to to be a bit more hesitant on going after SW weapon since it seemed like beginners might take a while before they can unlcok her from the WT shop (costs ancient legacy which you really only get at high captain levels) but what's done is done and you'll make use of it later if not sooner.

For now continue building up crystals esp from limited time/missable sources to prep for the next new valk next patch. Also don't forget to clear events to eventually get the free senadina this patch.

in the meantime you can use barebone teams in the fhm guide that i linked to you before to clear through content like q-manifold the best you can.

the short of it is that it rises in difficulty and rewards if you reach certain captain levels, and also if you perform well enough in a previous cycle. Abyss happens twice every week but it's a big part of your crystal income. Try to do what you reasonably can every cycle.

Eventually (edit: cap lv 81+, aka breakthrough) abyss becomes a place where you contest against other player's high scores, hence why the meta is important

yeah and while your abyss income isn't as great from not being as high, you're getting plenty of non regular ones from one time rewards like story and beginner event too

so learning to hold and not be sporadic with your crystals/card spending can go a long way down the line

but also don't be so stringent if it makes you burn out or dislike the game. The game should be fun and it has room for non-meta considerations

Ai-chan recommends that you keep the box until you have a use case for one of the weapons. Both Purana Phantasma and Nocturnal Stealth have their uses. Key of Ego is generally not recommended.

If you insist on opening the box immediately, Purana is likely to have more usage long-term due to the team tdm buff and RC being able to quickly debuff enemies which may be useful for SS MA.

Im focusing on 3 teams
Elysia love elf (the musian), Fate Defying dragon and trying to get latern rite kiana to finish her team
Hersccher of human: ego, Li sushang and Kalico (idk the catgirl name)
Elysia (default) and i have no idea what should i get and pair her with, could anyone help me with that?

(Accepting help on hersccher team too if theres better units for it)

Uh technically Jade Knight has one boss where she can still support okay but it requires really heavy investment and only works for that one boss

and only if you have SW + dkey + kira and gear (plus JK gear) for that boss

so not worth chasing unless you already have most of it
