Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

Let's talk about a symbiosis batlesuit like HLE

if you give her VBM as a support, VBM will get the leader skill (good) and her buffs will auto activate on Stelllar outburst (good)

however, unlike a proper symbiosis support, she won't give much SP in stellar outburst

so you have a hard time using her ult multiple times

with a symbiosis support like, say, peregrine sword

you can ult, switch out to PS qte, weapon active, ult, and gain 350-400 sp from this

VBM just doesnt have that mechanic

so they're better than nothing but not as good as a proper support, since a proper support does all the same things ROO does and have added utility on top
