Also keep in mind there's two main category of crystal tasks. SS and Ex, but i've never checked for more minor variations like differences in coins or something. Ideally all that should be documented separately from each other.

i know i personally tested that if you get the first frag drop early, trying to exhaust the attempts at the act in the day may wind up with nothing. So getting the first drop early is prob the guaranteed one

If you’re a new player it’s pretty much always better to start sooner since that’s however many more weeks of crystals income

If you want to pull the current banner it’s probably advisable to reroll if you’re up for it but you can still go for FDD even if you’re not willing to reroll

This patch is pretty good for newbies since FDD (current banner) is less reliant on having teammates than other releases around now and she does a good job at supporting other gacha units

About a 50% to get the character in 7 rerolls I think? That’s at least not wildly off, someone who knows more can chime in. But there’s no pity between accounts so there’s no guarentee.

Hopefully you get lucky and it comes soon and if not again if you get tired of rerolling it’s not a disaster or anything, it just means you’ll need to be more careful with your pulls

if you want to reroll just take the 5 battlesuit supply cards you get once you reach level 20 and do the discounted 10x, you can also spend any excess crystals that you have to maybe get her early after that but don't waste too much time on farming crystals. If you are not rerolling atm doing starter manual is absolutely worth it though i'd save up 16.8k crystals before continuing to pull on the battlesuit supply banner after the discounted pull, we recommend that since you only have 2 weeks left to pull the current character + her weapon and you are not able to guarantee both in such a short time, so by saving up 16.8k and spending any crystals above that on the battlesuit supply you would be able to guarantee the weapon instantly if you get lucky and get her

also note that sig weapons are basically mandatory in this game, it's always a huge dmg loss and at the same time you also loose utilitly, sometimes crucial parts of a valk's kit are also locked behind their weapon

they've made these materials more available now but earlier/developing accounts may still not have an ample supply of them

if you were low on mats and were considering making a pri arm of an old weapon, or plan to pick up the next new release very soon, then it may be worth to hold to prioritize other or newer weapons

• in the case of FDD coralie's weapon it's probably fine though

the other reason is more of a historical case and doesn't really exist nowadays. Some older weapons may have effects and uses that differ greatly from their pri arm counterparts.

but if you want to be careful i recommend you to review the effects before and after the change

in general for consuming any material or resource in this game, you can always consider holding until you encounter a specific scenario that really pushes for the change/upgrade

Would you say it would be better to invest in HoV, HoE or Jade Knight when i unlock her to make a team to clear general stuff as fast and easily as possible? i do have one more consideration actually. If the weapon you plan to upgrade is for support uses, their personal damage may not matter as much. The change from base > pri arm form may often include additional effects that may be worth making for supports. But any higher upgrade and levels generally improve numbers that may not be as urgent for support use cases.

you're not going to really need to think about what to use for part 1 very much. just avoid spending crystals, honkai shards, ae imaginons, maybe even phase shifters on part 1 stuff

for the most part we don't tell players to aim for nirvana. We only tell them to aim for red lotus which is right below it and much more lax for not much loss (20 crystals per cycle. very little. although if your can be in top 100 of the server then you're losing a bit more than 20)

yeah the thing that i find difference on this game from other hoyo is like you cant just pull a character, like you need to pull their gears too if you want one so its kinda hard to get a lot of units for new player like me

there's no 50/50 in this game

so the cost are more consistent and not as variable

So it’s like an “well eventually you might get around to this with spare materials”

it's ok to not be competitive but please be aware the reason why it's regularly brought up and defaulted to is because being competitive can roughly be half of your regularly recurring income if you are to exclude events and one time sources of crystals

you don't have to be fully competitive either. Some people take a more lax partial approach so they still get a decent amount

i'll leave it at that. Not trying to urge you to be meta here but rather just want to make sure you're well informed. You can ask more if you're interested.

Once her banner leaves save for the 8.5 valk

Generally senadina/vbm/vbs should be okay for early game even though senadina does not have her weapon or Stigmata though if you need other teams because you need multiple for MA for example refer to the FAQ I'll link you in a second

and that comes out to a negative unless you really need the stellar drain

Generally beginner rots are also kept simple to not confuse the people that use them
