i would assume its just a flat 0.5x multiplier

since DEF has some really bad diminishing returns so he would need absolutely massive amount of DEF to halve your phys damage, and any impair would have cut through that like butter

having 50% phys breach or applying a 50% impair will bring the exact same result to final dmg. They are different in name and type (one is a buff to the valk and the other is a debuff to the mob) but in practice they apply the same way (and are multiplicative with each other, if you have those 2 50% together it's equivalent to 75% impair)

since you're considering a rerun, the general conensus on that meta wise will lean more towards no

bleed as a niche can be pretty gating but it's still only a niche at the end of the day. If you're f2p you're not expected to cover everything. You only need to aim to cover most situations in abyss

and picking up sushang now or even later on a rerun is already a lost of mileage since you missed the 3 or so weathers she was formerly emphasized on

but if you're really fixated on the bleed niche and don't mind missing out on the future releases then maybe you can justify it for yourself

• the worst you can do for your account is to pick up a valk or a weapon and not both. I'm going to give you an automatic no if you cannot plan to save up enough rolls to guarantee both in some way, regardless of how good/must-pull the valk is.
• HI3 is a team game so you'll want to make sure you can support sushang dps well or use sushang well as a support for other teams
• meta is generally recommended for higher crystals in abyss but it's not a requirement. your personal enjoyment is most important

Sensei, how important is it? I grabbed someone just for the bonuses because social interaction sounded agonizing right then and I had no idea what I was looking for but some of the guides are gassing up the importance of an active sensei.
How do armada commissions work? I've been doing them as it comes up but I don't know if I should be donating more valuable resources for more rewards or less valuable because I need those right now or something else entirely.
Crafting Weapons. When do I need to start caring about this, and if it's soon what do I need to know?
Are these thousands of training manuals I'm getting from the helper event good for anything?
Is there a good way to get equipment xp or should i just not sweat my stigmata levels and level things up as they come?

the importance of sensei is u need them to be able to do cadet quest which give many reward

about armada commission only donate what u have plenty of. or just do 2 items for the daily quest

sensei is very important and if you dont want to you dont have to interact with them, just go to #na-cadet-recruit and apply, you'll get accepted. you're able to get all rewards still at the level you're at but sooner is better since you get a small amount of daily rewards too
crafting weapons is just for dkeys (abyss and fhp you can ignore until you get their counterpart, pos is directly craftable and judah is effectively craftable by making weapons to convert to reso) or if you want to you can craft ae imaginon weapons to salvage them for honkai shards to get a small amount of collection progress instead of buying them from the asterite shop
the training manuals you dont spend on anything you just get the box after you collect enough

as for equipment xp you can leave m stigmata at level 1 to save a bit

unless they're special cards that expire like carnival there's no reason to not treat them the same

snazzy doesn't really have story elements but it does show enemies late in the story that they may still want to avoid. However, the game doesn't do a good of hiding these sort of things in general so you may get spoiled in other ways (battlesuits, enemies in arena or abyss or ER, etc)

alright, i would recommend getting Reverist Calico and orientate yourself on the following FAQ for teambuilding

but seeing how you leveled helia and hotr, i would put helia as leader and give her edison 3pc. coralie should have theresa: gluttony T with fhm MB for now. as third slot you actually can have hotr instead of pardofelis since you do have her (somehow). for her you can use other support stigmata like roald 3pc, as long as they aren't fhm (multiple copies do not stack their buffs if the effect says so, so make sure to read them)

the advantage of hotr's ult is that it buffs both fire and lightning damage on top of providing elemental breach. do try using it before using your stellar outburst on helia

Overall, you should only affix Best-in-Slot Stigmata and generally aim to get as much Atk as possible on your DPS Valkyries first. Ensure that the Battlesuit/Weapon Type matches what the Affix line demands otherwise the Atk will not apply.

Remember only Physical Damage can crit, and "crit ratios" do not apply to Honkai Impact 3rd.

After successfully upgrading an S-Rank Valkyrie to SSS, the "Pure Witch Orb" section of the Witch's Corridor shop will be unlocked. Like normal Witch Orbs, any more fragments you obtain from this Valkyrie can be converted into Pure Witch Orbs (pwo) via Equip > Fragments > Convert (above Salvage, bottom right).

Conversions:

• S-rank valk frag => 50 pwo
• S-rank Awakening valk frag => 30 pwo

Here, you can buy everything shown in the image below. Occasionally new stamps get added to this shop. The recommendation is to buy Wafer Stabilizers, but you may also buy stamps of your choice or even Wafer Dataflows if you are pushing for 23 ATK affix lines.
