Going for hard pity is unrealistic (and quite unnecessary imo), 30k alr gives you a 75% chance

You can just keep 16.8k in the tank to make sure you don't end up with a weapless valk

If you still wanna be extra safe I'd still do the discounted 10x, you either save 5 pulls in the long run at worst or get lucky at best

if you're starting just now it's probably a good idea to craft tsiol 3pc with the slower release schedule depending on how your weapon pulls go, beginners have a bunch of one time sources in addition to the refreshing income and you're not benching her until 8.4 at the earliest, possibly even later

upgrades are a lot worse than 3pc so hold off on those regardless

Definitely prioritize getting Sushang's set and upgrading it to like lvl 45

Though you should have enough to both max Sushang's set and craft Tsio considering that Starter Manual gives 21 Prisms in total

we might get pull supply cards but these should be treated the same way as you would treat regular crystals

newer players tend to treat them as extra/bonus because they look different but that's mistake since even with these pull cards, you may not have enough anyway (therefore they're not extras)

whether you should pull or not depends on your current total crystal/card count, as well as any pity you built up previously on valk and weapon banners

Data suggests that it does exist (starting at 76 pulls), but it is not confirmed anywhere by HoYoverse so we can't be 100% sure.

Averages and Worst Cases (Valkyrie + All Gear)

• Part 1 vs 2 Average - 140 Pulls (40k ) vs 78 pulls (22k )
• Part 2 "Soft pity valk" + average wep 106 pulls (30k )
• Worst Case:

but if you want to chance at it below that, then you can roll on the valk banner without going below 17k. Staying above 17k (60 rolls) lets you guarantee weapon with it if you do get the valkyrie early.

what other valkyries do you own by the way? Both kiana and sushang are Law of Ascension leaders. These leaders want supports with "heavenly shift". The problem for newer players is that these supports aren't farmable so it's difficult to use LoA valks early on.

Well, in a vacuum they're roughly of equal value (idk how their supporting capabilities compare buff-wise, iirc Sushang was a bit better? Also we have no fucking clue about the ??? AR type)
Another factor to consider is that Sushang is newer, she'll last longer when going by averages + you'll get to play more of her own bosses (a lot of them run on the debut and the next patch, and you alr missed that in Dudu's case)

Also keep in mind that thinking in just elements is too shallow of a perspective

You don't usually want just Phys, you want, for example, SD + Phys, maybe IMG + shieldbreak + Phys, maybe BIO + Bleed (regardless of the element)
