the teams there are pretty illogical and are only put together for lore purposes. However the enemies there are all weak enough to compensate. You can prob get by doing whatever you feel like

but if you really want to optimize it to some extent then keep in mind HB can apply turgenev stigmata effects for some general elemental supporting effects that other elemental dps can benefit off of

if fallen rosemary is s1 then casting her hold attack will provide a team elemental buff too

there isn't really much of a rotation to say. HB should be able to reapply her effects off field as long as you swap to her and use her hold attack at the start, then qte with her whenever later on

A thing about Himeko valks is that you have to time your BA sword swings properly to swing faster. One segment of the blue bar for Kriegsmesser means you can hold BA to enhance your attacks with Ice dmg

i wouldn't say they're all equal. While meta wise none of the valks are worth using, keep the following in mind too

• cost to get in war treasury. some cost ancient legacy which are not as available as willpower
• presence in elysian realm for permanent one time crystals.
  • while in the long run, you will end up with plenty of resources to get them all, some players may still opt to skip certain valks with none of these purposes, and convert excess resources into other more meta things (gold witch orbs)
• this last one is a huge stretch but perhaps a niche emergency memorial arena use if you don't have the materials to get the valk/rank normally. But overall MA scoring isn't important

if the new player wants to be meta, i wouldn't recommend a qua valk at all tbh. For newer qua fights like val or vita (enemy), just bruteforce the qua mechanics

but at this point with newer valks capable of double collapsing, teri and sparkle does hold an edge on older qua fights like tona and kosma

so if they really want to hone on that then i would recommend sparkle over teri. Alternatively and prob more recommended, just wait for now until a new qua valk shows up

reason why i recommend sparkle over teri is because of her ult cdr utility which is potent (but so far not too significant for abyss), and because she has heavenly shift which is more troublesome for newer accounts to cover

teri covers harmonized shadow star but WoD only really needs one of those to function decently.

yeah thats the rule of thumb here, as a beginner you can most likely get enough for the 8.2 and 8.3 valk unless you get super unlucky atleast 8.2 is definitely doable and 45k is a bit too much.

yeah story is a very good crystals source, as i mentioned before check out crystal sources in pins if you want some other ones. if you want to you can also pull while keeping your weapon banner pity ( normaly 60 which is 16.8 crystals) in the tank and if you get a bit lucky on the char banner you can instantly get the weapon, if not the pity goes towards the next valk.

dont do this until sushang ( the 8.2 debut valk) is out

you always want to pull weapons, this is why i mentioned to keep 16.8k crystals in the tank so IF you get lucky you can instanly get the weapon

since weapon pity is 60 (16.8k)

the method i mentioned is only pulling if you are still above your weapon pity crystal wise

weapons are basically non negotibale here most of the time, its not only a big dmg loss but also a utility loss and sometimes the valks gameplay is just bricked without it
