if you want to, there's an exercise you can do every day where you take a ballpoint pen, a piece of paper and fill it with random doodles that are gonna look horrible

over time you'll start to get used to seeing your mistakes

what I also like to do is separate my drawing for fun time and practice time 50/50. when I draw for fun I'm allowed to make mistakes but during practice, technically, no mistake should be left unquestioned

#

but if you want to get back into art you shouldn't worry about this stuff yet, just take a pen and sketch your waifu
