Guys have you ever noticed how this game/manga is related to butterflies? It takes lots of its meanings into the japanese culture:
Butterfly represents young women, and most of the characters are young women
Its also is the symbol of metamorphosis, and we get the Herrschers, who are beyond the human, the "larvae" or "worm"
Herrschers can have wings that spread out like butterfly wings
Seele is shown as a white/blue butterfly, used to represent dead people
After Bronya defeated Tualoc or how in the heck it is called, we see 2 of these insects dancing, and this is a symbol of love
