I'm trying to have her develop naturally and not just ramrod stuff and it's friggin' difficult

It'd be something I'd do if I was bored and didn't have any other real options, but then again I'd also be writing Sirin trying to help because she's trying to be better in her own way.

I mean this is happening like, immediately after Otto caused yet another mental breakdown so.

Captain has a week to pack her entire apartment and get ready for movers

Also needs to distract Sirin while the movers are there

She has enough issues with Captain and Teri, having just random ass men there is a problem. And it requires a solution.

Of course little does Captain know the movers won't be taking any of her furniture or anything of the sort. Otto is Otto and he's already furnished the entire apartment to a much higher standard.

It's not Captain's apartment. She's not paying for it. She basically doesn't have a bank account anymore, not one that's relevant anymore.

It might come off at first glance at Otto just... spoiling Captain and going "No you will have nice things."

But it's very much so a sword of Damocles over Captain's head. The expectations placed upon her by Otto, and a reminder of what Otto wants from her.

And what's the reminder that Otto want from the captain

Otto just wants a functional Sirin from the Captain. All this money is solely so that Captain can work toward that end with no fear of interference from anyone other than Otto.

Sirin is, in fact, entirely useless to Otto in the state that she is in. Therefor... Throw money at the problem. Captain just so happened to offer him a solution to the problem without intentionally doing so.

Can't use and abuse the all powerful Herrscher of the Void when she's a mentally shattered disaster that breaks down the moment you touch her.

Captain isn't loyal to him, that much is clear. ... But she's still useful, whether she wants to be.

Oh Captain has no intention of giving Sirin to Otto as agreed. She just has no friggin' clue how exactly she's going to manage to do so.

Frankly I'm still not sure how I'm gonna do it.

Buuuuut I have three years of story time to slowly build Sirin back up again and reach that point so that will come with time.

If only they would add an outfit for GK that looks like actually Sirin

Actually that reminds me, I toyed around with the idea of Sirin dying her hair purple later own down the line.

But I feel like that's... Kind of her going back to the past rather than moving forwards and accepting who she is.

Could always have it happen like that, though. Or do a Rosario+Vampire situation where Sirin's hair goes purple when she starts nuking things and stays white when she does Kiana things.

I'd accept dyeing the hair purple as a way of saying "This is who I was, but I won't let that tie me down today" sort of situation.

I don't feel like it's just... the direction I want to take the story and how Sirin would develop. It's about her dealing with her past demons and moving forward in her life rather than looking into the past and not forwards.
