I understand not everyone has talent in the same areas as others. It's sorta like classes or roles. One may be a good Archer, but not a good Saber, or perhaps one may be good with Katanas but not greatswords or robotic MLRS weaponry, but fandoms aren't like that. There are actual divides in fandoms. You're either someone who contributes, or a damn pog. To be someone who contributes, you need to have some form of artistic talent, which imo is bs but it's how it works.

• Art isn't about a talent that much. It's all about years of practice, 24/7;
• Dude, if you want to change anything, then start with your attitude. Negative emotions never help to create. Imagine the situation when you want to make a gift to the person you love - will you ever fill it with negative emotions, and will it be the "gift" you really want for that person? I don't think you want it. Same thing works for art too, think about it.
• Being popular is about suiting the trends, it has nothing to do with art or talent.
• "I want to contribute a fandom and be popular in it" is a dead end. Most of the fandoms are poisonous, fandoms born and die like in a blink of an eye, it won't help you at all. My best friend draws an art which looks beautiful, but she says "it's a piece of shit". And if you ask her "why" she will reply "1. I hate drawing. 2. I messed up things here and there. It's a mistake".

2. Prodigies exist, however they are like 1 out of 100000000000, and most of us are those 10000000000. You can be gifted, however if you don't use and if you don't care about that small drop of talent you have, you won't be able to compete with people who are less talented, but they do a hard work every day. I'll ask my friend to make a photo of her drawings made for those years.

3. I don't consider myself as an artist. I'm a crafter. I see no difference between the gift to person I love and a fan art 'cause both of them requires the same. The first rule of every handmade things is "don't fill it with negative emotions, it can harm people". No jokes about that, I can tell some sort of private stories of mine here.
