On Balmung everything is wood except for the blade which is aluminium and the crystals which are acrylic glass. Ice epi is all wood but the blade which is iron reinforced acrylic glass and flame stick is 100% wood

Technically he isn't "the source of like 80% of the universe's problems", Honkai existed way before he was born. At most he's the source of most of the main character's problems, and I find it debatable too. Kallen clearly says in the manga that a Honkai entity possessing you will make you believe its will is yours. And who had a Honkai entity inside of him since he was a kid? Otto! He trie to use it for a good deed and failed, then the entity, while not possessing him directly in a puppet-like fashion, started to shape Otto's will to its desires, leading to the experiments in Purple Kite's Tales and in everything that happened due to Otto in the past 500 years. I've seen possessed character being forgiven for far worse. He's slfish? Of course! But that doesn't make him plain evil as some says.
