I put alot of work into it. Thought I finally am getting somewhere and spent hours filpping the image making sure it doesnt look odd and i actually felt proud about this piece too. And i get it criticism is suppose to better my work, but what exactly is the borderline when it comes accepting that the proprtions can be exaggerated or when it can not?
Especially when it comes to certain style that people go for? Alot of people can accept the disney style or the anime style but the proportions are definitely off so when is it okay to say that every single body proportion has to be accurate in comparison to a certain style.

Depends on what you're trying to shove the cross into. And also what sort of cross-section you're looking at in terms of the cross itself.
Smaller cross-section = smaller area of impact = less force needed to break through. Though the same is true in reverse as well.

If that's your reaction, then by all means, sure. It's a worthless piece of shit that you spent a good chunk of time on just attempting to fix, let alone make in the first place. But isn't that an insult to you? Here, you have people pointing out specific things they see as flaws, and instead of taking it in stride, you say, "Well, I liked this piece, but now that there's even the smallest bit of a flaw, it's now irredeemable trash."
People are trying to help, and instead of taking their criticisms like any good artist should and actively using them to better their own work, you hide. You give artists a bad name.
Is the piece flawed? Sure. Frankly, I thought at first you were trying Kiana in a more realistic setting. Personally speaking, her lips and nose looked a bit too off for me to be fully okay with the piece, but as an amalgamation, it was fine. Your faces just need a bit more work. Don't go around acting like it's a waste of time and thinking anyone's out to get you with solid criticisms.

To me it is difficult for me to take criticism at all because it proves to me that Im not doing good and that I havent improved at all. What I do with criticism is not more like hiding it. Its more like taking it and twist it to make me feel worse about myself. @vapid talon personally I ve been looking a bit your drawing, and, if you pull out the face, you can be very proud of all the work you've done aside. I understand you may have wanted to do a custom/realistic version, but I have to admit those lips and, just the look she's having on her face isn't according to the kiana we all know. But that's far from being a real issue, you just need when you have your pen in your hand to put it down after having drawn the face, disconnect form your drawing for like 10 minutes (go eat or something) and when you come back I m almost sure you could see some of the mistakes we've seen here and then you can fix it.
