I finished the cosplay for the greatsword I made
Sword Specifications
44in tall, 1ft wide, 1in thick blade. 3.5in thick grip.
handle is 24.6in long and 1.3in diameter.
the sword weights about 3lbs and its center of mass at around the grip, so it feels heavier from the handle
Made from cardboard and EVA foam(the same as the jigsaw foam floor mats for sports and recreational equipment)

I'd make it a sword that heats up the edge to a temperature that causes it to glow, meaning it'd be real hot. And then the heatsink would have to cool it down as the grip needs to at least remain to be held, along with the handle. It'd be a real pain to weild, in truth
