I'm gonna be the devils advocate here, if you read it says [Complete 10 missions of Wavy Prelude] and the current event tab your looking at there is Wavy Prelude 
So if you stop and think a short while, there are 10 missions in the Wavy Prelude event tab, and the log in one refreshes per day as well as a few others. 👀
One can surmise if properly understood that you need to complete the event missions in that tab for the aforementioned mission [Complete 10 missions of Wavy Prelude] to be completed

I did not unlock the new dorm room. I went to visit someone else who had it, and when I came back to my dorm, it became the new beach theme and won’t go back to normal.
It also shows that I have unlocked the user whom I visited’s valkyries.
EDIT: it went back to normal after restarting the game, but it’s pretty inconvenient

Screenshot doesn't capture the bug due to its nature but... Ever since I got the Fafnir Flame card, whenever my Sixth Serenate dodges an attack or gets hit, its active is triggered. It has a cooldown, but the card is not consumed. This Matrix's buff is +50% damage to Katana users.

It seems like its only one explosion, unlike the weapon's active that specifies 3 explosions. It doesn't trigger Xuanyan Armor nor any other team skill. Sixth Serenade has lvl 45 Cleopatra (T)[4.2 stars], lvl 50 Yae Sakura (M), and lvl 35 Shigure Kira (B).

@tawny sable I don't hate you but that event was not made clear enough ...when ai started the event and saw [10 mission ] most like myself assumed 10 stages so I did the 10 stages without looking back at the menu because of that assumption....but to my surprise it did not register..and with all the gawkdam glitches and bugs going around ...I assumed it was a game error too.... there were many other with this same complaint and mihoyo needs to address this issue properly and give compensation for their error ...they have given clear directions before why not now?

You could have done another objective and see that it added one mission accomplished.
What I meant, it's that the translation was partly to blame. If people wasted their stam on a mission they weren't even sure it would add to the mission, it's partly their fault too.

Ok I see where your coming from but most event are pretty straight forward ... like [complete 5 story or event stages] you don't really have to check to make sure it registers ...so when a player is used to that pattern of translation it is not usually an automatic thing to stop and check

can you fix the small chat buffer? i assume what happened is the chat buffer for NA is the same as the Asian versions since you use less characters in Japanese and Chinese type face etc, but we need to use so many more characters in words that we need a larger chat buffer. what ends up happening is, we just have our sentences cut off randomly with elipsis, and then if we complete them by typing the rest soon after it says slow down your typing. this is something that should be fixed. the amount you can type into chat in English right now is so small. barely enough for small sentences.

I've encountered a glitch while I modified the residence assignments, it allows to move guests to other rooms and it also allows to have more than 5 chibis in a room (it resets when exiting the dorm) it's funny, but useless, you might want to resolve this problem

@pure saffron comfort levels aren't affected by what you place anymore, it automatically calculates the max amount of comfort you could get if you were to place your best furniture in the dorm. Which means it's not a bug

I've managed to repeat the bug. If you use sinhunter's ult and then go into the portal at the end of the round, it persists. If you do it while firing, it persists while stuck in the firing animation and the firing sound loops indefinitely until the end of the 3 part assault.
Also Luna's Axe gets stuck like this when not in use. But that's a different bug that oocurs in every game mode I've used her in.

I've been hearing a lot of people have been getting the Reburn/first two chapters of dialogue instead of Soukai events. So have I.
Beyond the first story beat, which worked as it was supposed to, or so I assume, the only thing that has worked is the "dating" scenes. Unless the actual story is locked behind Valkyrie trust levels, which would be stupid and extremely grindy as all hell.

Update on Weapon Skill card - Fafnir Flame: Works on Sixth Serenade and Herrscher of the Void. Due to the bug's setup, I will not be testing other battle suits.
Bug's setup:
- Obtain Weapon Skill Card - Fafnir flame
- Dodge an attack(with evasion skills) or get hit while using the battle suit holding the card(note: Triggering evasion skills isn't the point, as dashing through an enemy as Herrscher of the Void won't trigger it. Also, you can trigger it while Evasion skill is on cooldown)
- Upon taking the damage or dodging the attack an explosion centered on the battle suit will occur instantly. Nearby enemies will be ignited, dealing from 70k to 270k fire damage per tick(depending on skill buffs and Matrix effect. May be affected by Stigmata).
Enemies who die to the burn will trigger Nuwa: Star, Moon, and Sun effects, but only if the battle suit holding the card hasn't been switched. Unsure if it triggers Buff Skill: Revenge.

I invited one of my friends who then shot me a message once they pushed to level 20. I logged on but my account didn’t receive the even benefits for the fifth invite despite them being my fifth invite during the event, I had them send me a screenshot of the code which does say it was used but my account is t registering it, I’ve relaunched the game multiple times over the course of 40 minutes and nothing has changed.

Hey just a heads up there is a bug with the imaginary maze beta in the Armada sub menu. I try to do explorations but the game gives me a error saying not_open and then anything after that gives a network error niether of which I can screenshot due to them lasting very small periods of time but they come up indefinitely and a full reset has done nothing to alleviate the issue

I haven't missed a single OW cycle since Schicksal HQ was released
So anyone Who has done so would be right now at lvl27
Last week, I was supposed to complete 2 urgent missions
Somehow I bypassed the First one (I think that's because I completed the Thursday-Friday Cycle on Saturday, and since there was the Next cycle on queue It somehow got bugged)
So I did not have access to the urgent mission neither I got the rewards
I have been talking the whole week with the support and they sent me the Urgent Mission log, and actually I was right. No completion log nor reward collection hint
But the support keeps telling me that they can't send me a reward that I've already claimed or that bypassing an UM is impossible
Even AFTER sending me the proofs of the log
Any idea about what should I do? It doesn't seem like this support wants to solve it
(I'm using the in-game support)

@burnt pulsar Activating a Perfect Defense counts as an Ultimate Evasion and will trigger her Evasion Skill, so there's no bug there. To activate a Perfect Defense, put the shield up and block and attack, then immediately let go of the shield right after you've blocked the attack. You should automatically perform a counterattack.

I have verified that this is an error both through field testing and by cross-referencing the text with the Japanese description of the skill. icks#1181 has also assisted in confirming my assertion.
The Global text: "When the character has Ripple, last hit of combo attacks consumes 1 charge (will not be consumed again with Vanguard) and gains 40.0% ATK of Physical DMG for 4.0s. Consuming the charge again resets the duration."
The JP text: 烈波がある時、分岐攻撃の最後の一式が命中すると烈波が1消費され、与える物理ダメージ+40％、継続時間4秒、重複して発動した場合は継続時間リスタート。烈波の消費は「破軍」と重複しない
A localized, but more accurate translation using the terms and phrasing you're already using, using similar sentence breaks:
"When the character has Ripple, when the final step of a combo attack hits the target, consume one Ripple (will only consume one charge total with Vanguard) and gain 40% physical damage for 4.0s. Reset the duration when a duplicate activation occurs."

thats intended, when you read "increase affection in battle" you need to use that valk in a stage (agaik abyss and MA dont count), each stage will raise her affection by 10. After something like 10 stages that message will go away.

Stamina isn't waisted, its only consumed when you pass a mission. And a mission is only aborted when the leader loses conection, so clearly the leader isn't fine

If you use one of the cliff scaling pads after starting an open world quest task but before the mobs spawn, you'll be trapped up on the cliff and float anywhere you walk. It'll also teleport the mobs to you and they can still attack you but it confines you to a small space.

You are given 5 "slots" for missions in Schicksal HQ
Some missions, like the Boss Crusade you have at the bottom right take up 2 "slots"
They also give twice as many rewards, which can save the need to refresh or help simplify your choice of missions when you want a lot of a particular reward like fragments
In the future, if you need to know how many slots a mission takes, look at the blue dots next to the "Cost" when you select them
The double missions will have two blue dots

@steel dome It is written, you're given 5 tasks points and so, some tasks consume 2. Pay more attention next time when you choose a task that gives double rewards, you'll see two blue dots in the confirm window

I'm sure anyone can attest, and it's not very hard to recreate. Emperor has extremely annoying moments where it can be knocked down after starting an attack animation, but the attack will continue as if it was not knocked down, even with no visible animation. If this only happened perhaps the second after it was knocked down, I'd understand, but there are clear occasions where an attack that was cancelled several seconds before still manages to hit a Valkyrie while Emperor is knocked down, and it is extremely irritating.
