Well, I just downloaded the PC client and without thinking much I lauched the game. So it created a new "account" from scratch
and when I do the recover button and select Mihoyo, it doesn't let me erase the "new" for the "old"
Don't know if I really clear there sorry

but for what you said, you only option is to create a new HYV account and use that one to link your old account. or try to contact CS and hope that they change their policy to enable again the unbind of accidental accounts
Just in case, because the change of login system was more that a yrs ago, you probably are going to be better if you start again in the game, the beginner rewards will let you better prepared that using an old one
only accounts with stuff that you cant get anymore (mostly just Evangelion stuff) are worth if you really want those "items" imo

the only exception to that is downloading the game on steam since it auto creates accounts using your steamID and therefore does not use the hoyoverse login system so there is no way to log into your steam account game account outside of steam

Chat, Is The Twitter Login Issue Already Fixed?
All they needed to do is link their account to either hoyoverse amount since like the message says the one they were linking to already had a honkai account bound to it. But as an easy thing to help with if someone has not logged into the game before July 2022 then just redirect them to the guides in the account retrieval guides in this pin if they're having issues with the retrieval button #štechnical-help message 
They have not made an announcement about it
Do keep in mind that this will change the linked email for every other hoyoverse game on that same account, not just honkai if that matters

imagine this: in my acc 1 i have the game honkai game i wanna save and in the acc 2 i have the one i want deleted, if in the acc 2 i have my main from hsr/genshin it will be erased too?

Nothing will get erased, that method that cactism suggested is basically just swapping around the login emails so that honkai is on the email you want. But if you change the login email for acc 2 that has your hsr and genshin on it then naturally the login email will change for those two a well. So I guess as long as you don't change them to a temp email that you won't have access to then it's all good xD
Also as a note, you can't merge two hoyoverse accounts together it's not possible, you'll have to live with honkai on one email and hsr\genshin on the other email. You can change the emails around however much you like but they both can't share the same email
Sorry if that's what you were hoping you could do, but yeah two different hoyoverse accounts can't share the same login info, since the game wouldn't know which account to login into
Though a quick question, did you create your honkai account before 2022?

So if you remember your old mihoyo account login info (you can see your main account when you try to login at the account retrieval button, don't proceed until you're able to do this)
Then email customer support and tell them you're having trouble retrieving your old honkai account and accidentally made a new one on your main hoyoverse account and then give them the uid of the new accidental honkai account, do not give them the uid of the old one. #how-to-contact-cs
Then if and only if they agree to and delete the accidental account then to go the account.hoyoverse.com portal for your old honkai account and click delete and wait for 30 days (this is not deleting the honkai account, just the hoyoverse account that it's linked to which if anyone else is going to try this do not do this unless your account exists on the mihoyo login system and you can access it otherwise you may lose your account)
Then go to the account retrieval and link your old account to your main hoyoverse account

that message is fine yeah and you can try the in game one, and i dont know if they've changed this but in the past they would only process account issues via email. can still try the in game one though and see if they'll take it. and best to send a screen shot of the profile page or just send the UID that you get from the profile page

That If you are going to send a ticket in-game, that you do it from the "new" account not the old one
Mhmm, I think the in game support tickets give info about the account sending it so if you sent it from your old account and then claimed that you're trying to retrieve your old account that wouldn't match up since you clearly can access your old account, you logged into the game with it lol

most of the time yeah, it depends on the type of transaction i think and how often. like for instance if the only receipt that you have is a google pay email recipt from like 5 years ago thats not that useful lol but yeah it does definitely help!

if you have the rendering accuracy manually set to max it can do that. its the most unoptimized setting and plus even though its the "bridge" its still fully rendered as if you were in the part 2 mall hub which is currently the most graphically intensive part of the game.
but even in the ow it is not 100%
no but you see how its significantly more than in the abyss. its rendering that part of the city which has more stuff going on than your latest screenshot plus a full non OW/Combat render of the character being displayed which is also fairly significant. people with GPU's lower than 2GB cant even render the characters during dialogue in the main story because its not enough VRAM to render the full up close character models. you can see if you go into the valk screen and go into appreciation mode how much its taking of your GPU, and add that onto that part of the city that is the bridge screen and theres your answer

not sure tbh. old system was to do compensation as mail items but i know they've been experimenting with auto adding them to your account but im not sure if that goes with the guide compensations. if you know when you were supposed to be getting it then you can check your crystal log to see if the total went up more than it should one day

I cannot delete the past chapters data? Like when I cleared a certain part of story mode in part 1, and there is no option to delete them

cuz there should be options to delete chapter resources past chapter 9 iirc, previously to that its part of the base game
yeah thats correct, its just up to chapter 9 has always been part of the base game installation
if you want to have the minimum amount of storage used at all times possible then yes
but several of them are like 50MB of space, thats around 4 large res photos in todays storage economy so you could get away maybe with doing larger chunks of the story before deleting the resources

For the first chapters is normal, they got a rework some time ago, and all the new CG/Lines didn't get JP voices, that is the default for the "Global" CGs
Ooh ok I thought it was bugged
On later chapters you will get voice lines in almost everything, just for the "Elysian Realm" Main Chapters, Mei don't have JP voices for a couple of them
Only that one is "missing" iirc

Unsure if this is supposed to be posted here, but a quick question, is there any particular reason why Hoyoverse login isnāt possible on the Steam version?
its how steam passes its authentication to programs, its with every game really. if you notice any MMO that is on steam really just downloads the launcher through steam and the launcher installs the game so people can log in with their preexisting account. i dont know why hoyoverse initially decided to have the full game on steam instead of the just the launcher to then download the game but as it currently stands its auto creating accounts based off of your steamID and thats just kind of how steam works so theres no real easy way to back out of that
they'd first have to figure out a way to link peoples steam accounts to a hoyoverse account despite there never being a steam 3rd party option for hoyoverse accounts and then they'd have to change the steam game to download about 100MB of launcher and thats it which at that point would be exactly the exact same as the regular PC version
idk why the ayaka one downloaded two files but here it is
Fair, a Steam login connection to Hoyoverse ID would more than likely fix that issue, as Steam users are locked behind a few things that Hoyoverse ID users arenāt locked behind from my knowledge, like one of the free avatar frames and some achievements
mhmm the only things steam is missing out on is any hoyolab integration stuffs so like twitch events and stuff dont work right with it. and a couple of other things. on the other hand steam users never ever lose their account. hoyoverse users take a break from the game, come back a year or two later and forget how they logged in and any account information that can help and lose their account. with steam as long as you're logged into your steam account (its very very rare for non developer steam users to have multiple accounts) you'll always get auto logged in with your steam account so losing your account is only possible if you lose your steam account entirely

well yeah it sucks dont get me wrong. i still recommend people use the regular version so they dont run into regrets later and i do recommend anyone playing the steam game to ask for steam integration with hoyoverse accounts in every version feedback survey

the collapse launcher is telling me i'm not connected to the internet, but literally everything else works fine

tbh i dont really use collapse, i didnt know if the launcher settings are inaccessible if theres a connection issue. but by default collapse doesnt install honkai in your program files, its C:\Users\currentuser\AppData\LocalLow\CollapseLauncher\GameFolder did you check in there?
but its probably out of date? the current version is 1.73.xx now iirc so you might have to uninstall it and reinstall it (can copy your game data folder so you dont have to reinstall the game)
i do know in the past that old unupdated versions of the launcher break like that sometimes so i think reinstalling the launcher would work

if its the event one then thats unvoiced. event stories are unvoiced a lot of the time. and sometimes just not in jp.

If you uninstall the official launcher it will delete the game files too, you can use that
Or if you want, you can manually delete the files (the default path is C:\Program Files\Honkai Impact...\Games)

That mission is from Sakura OW, not apho, so probably you are on the incorrect active map for that mission 
I mean I'm in like the village area and I walked all around it a lot and nothing happened ššš

And then check if that work after you login again
Check what active map you have on the game, you can only select 1 map to be active for the week, so if you activated any other you will have to wait
On the select map menu you can see which one is active
I think that one is active and this is the closest i got to the āobjectiveā even tho i finished it ššš
Iirc that mission is one of those you have to talk again to an npc again to start the next mission, did you check that the objective "line" is showing you the new step?
I haven't play Sakura since it released but I remember vaguely that the "gps" didn't update until you moved from the "arena" where you fight, idk if still work the same way so you can check it just in case
I looked up a walkthrough of the quest and after the fight I'm supposed to go to Kallen, but where she is supposed to be she's not
Okay I resolved it, I restarted the game a couple times and Kallen appeared in a diff location
Did you started that mission last week?, because could be that is bugged because of the "active" map mechanic of the game
Still try first to restart the game, and run a assets repair (on login screen, š ļø icon) and check again

Hello! Sorry If I'm interrupting but I'm having an issue. I wanted to download HI3rd on my pc through steam. The last 4GB of assets I can't download. It says error downloading assets. I try again it doesn't work. I closed the app. Tried again. Not working. I just updated my pc. Is it maybe because of that? Or maybe it's something else the matter? Sorry for disturbance once again.

its either steam having an issue or just a glitch. i'd restart your computer and if it still is happening it is probably an issue on steams end i'd contact their customer support
Thanks for the response, I previously tried the restart option and also verified I had the current updates. Still got the issue and it has also popped up with my other steam games, so it does seem to be a Steam issue. I've messaged the support team and I'll hopefully get a reply some point tomorrow.

for what i understand... you have a "google" account that have your HI3 data, and you have another HYV account that have your HSR data

okay, unfortunally you cant "merge" HYV accounts, so to get the HoYoLAB daily rewards for both games you will need to login manually to each account
i have my UID of HSR. and a screen of hoyolab daily where i can see a username "Shiirossop" which is a common name i use

sign in is asking email or ID. i use different email i have it doesnt work. i tried the username in hoyolab and the UID in HSR it doesnt work too. saying account doest not exist. can't even recover password
you cant login using your "Nickname"(ā as username) or UID, you need to login using the corresponding info email/3rd party/username, this last one is what most users forget how they write it or even if they created one
so if you have your UID of HSR, contact their CS and tell them that you forget how to login to the game to your account(UID), and they will tell you what you use in a censored way (like e***m@il.com)

and just in case, if you are using an autocomplete option to write the email/password on the login screen, try to do it manually, some apps can add a blank space at the end and make the game not recognize the info

i connect to hoyolab but with google gmail address. which is not bind to my hi3 game....
so in fact i have gmail to connect hi3. but when i google to connect HSR it s a new game. if i connect with the gmail address inside hoyolab it retrieve my HSR account... so complicated. thx mate you helped me to solve the pb by thinking about emails (i didnt realize the same address can be used to log with different provider but anyway)
good thing that you are able to login again, but just in case, remember that Google Account ā that Gmail, so in the account where you used the "Google" icon to login try to add a email or another 3rd party login
i was thinking about connecting to all my hoyo game with google it s a simple way for me
is only in case the google login service go down or have problems for some days, you still have some way to connect to the game (in HI3 some days ago Twitter login had problems and users with only that login option werenāt able login to the game until was fixed)

yeah your only option is to have 2 account, unless you wanted to "start again" on some games to have them on just 1 account
you should be fine with just remembering which one use Google and the other Gmail
imo is better if you have for each account the email login option enable, not just a 3rd party login, but you will need 1 email for each HYV account (2 in your case)

only other way to make the game smaller is to totally uninstall and reinstall and pick the minimal download option

heres how you delete that, but when you go back into it for OW tasks it'll redownload it

since theres not much story data since all the assets and maps and so on are in the regular OW tasks anyways

ah thats why then, just deleting the files doesnt fix it for whatever reason, you have to actually run the uninstaller by uninstalling it from the windows apps and features settings menu or by running uninstall.exe from the launcher folder to uninstall it properly
just deleting the game data leaves a lot of cache/junk files behind that dont match up when it redownloads the game or something like that
so that's not game issue but launcher

if you want to use the betterhi3launcher (still works btw i use it everyday, i like the simplicity of it plus parallel downloads) then what i'd recommend is copying the contents of your games folder from your installation folder (should be like C:\Program files\honkai impact 3\games\ ) instead of the whole hi3 folder. just put it in a folder you make for the game on your HDD like G:\Honkai impact 3\ for instance and then when you open the better launcher there will be an option to locate an existing installation, just point it to your folder on your HDD and it should detect it.
all the stuff outside of the games folder is launcher stuff so basially only the stuff inside of the games folder (this stuff in the screenshot) is the actual game stuff and is all that is needed for the betterlauncher. tbh if you manually download this is all thats in the manual download you technically dont need a launcher to play the game

with that being said though hi3 does run best on SSD. it still runs fine on HDD dont get me wrong, but if you're moving it from an SSD to an HDD then you'll notice longer loading times. though it shouldnt impact in stage combat

not possible unfortunately, the steam version is GLB only, no steam SEA client and it auto creates accounts from your steamID that cant be linked to a hoyoverse account
if you started playing on steam you'll have to keep playing on steam since thats the only place your account will be at. if you started playing on mobile or something then you can install the SEA pc client instead of the steam one and access your hoyoverse account through that
fair, but there also isnt a disclaimer or anything when you first start with steam and most new players dont think of that kind of stuff. I will say if your account is still pretty new you could consider restarting, but #š¶beginner-help would be able to answer that better if you want to get advice on how viable it is

fixed it thanks, theres "repair game" in the launcher and i also did the "fix broken assets" in the login screen.
the repair showed no errors but the fix broken assets had a msg of "deleted all broken files" so im assuming it was the fix at the end

like the pin says, it doesnt matter if your internet is fine. if its a connection issue the problem is your connection to honkais servers specifically, not with your general internet connection

i gotcha, just checking because someone else said it only happened when they switched accounts, but yeah delete that one key again and keep in mind that you might have to do it 3-4 times before it stays fixed. it should be remembering your credentials though when you tap the hoyoverse logo if all you deleted was the one key i mentioned. if you delete the whole folder then yeah it'll make you type everything again and doesnt fix the issue
could try deleting the whole folder i guess, but that'll also revert all your settings back to default so its up to you. but if it doesnt work after another try or two then you'll have to try customer support and see if they have a different solution. its weird though if it doesnt fix it for good eventually cuz its fixed it for other people before so im not sure what it would be at that point

for the fastest resolution you can contact them in game by going to ai chan phone in the bottom right of the main bridge menu and then go to support and then once it opens the support inquiry website in your web browser go to contact CS
they usually repond faster to in game inquiries than emails so that would be the fastest way to contact them

Yeah that's true, if your connection to honkai servers specifically are being unstable it'll make you type your credentials again. Could be it in this case since it's not remembering their login after deleting the key

Personally I don't recommend playing with a controller via Bluetooth if you want a full "plug n play" experience on PC.
But at least for hi3, the game have support for PS controllers, the issue is that not for all of them (I'm not 100% sura what cause that but probably changes internally from model to model)
You have some ways to "fix/bypass" the issue, that you can see on this pin msg #štechnical-help message and let you use any controller on the game
The game work fully on xinput, so if you don't mind the different layout, Xbox controllers will work better, but it your choice at the end

Hi, I didn't want to do this, but I need to do it. I'm going to buy a new phone to download the game, but I'm not sure about the minimum requirements for it to work. Is there an updated list or a guide to see options to purchase a new mobile phone and continue with Hi3? Thank You.

keep in mind that the "compatible" requirements in that list are just that, minimum. they will run the game but to some peoples preferences they cant say the game runs well (as in mid tier graphics at a decent framerate) so keep that in mind when you're looking at SoC's on phones
oh and something else to keep in mind, avoid any phones that use PowerVR graphics because those graphics are incompatible with HI3 and will generally have a ton of bugs/glitches if it even works (you can look up what a phones graphics processor is on this site https://www.gsmarena.com as well as full specs for any mobile phone)
and the storage is the bare minimum, the full install of the game is closer to 30GB these days

mhmm, if i had to guess i think your account is under a heightened security status since you just went through the account recovery process. probably making sure any hacker or something cant immediately change it back or something

that means either that you are logging into the wrong server or the wrong account
first please make sure that you have the same server installed on PC as you do on mobile
and if it is the same server then also keep in mind that logging in with a google account on mobile (the google icon) does not mean the same thing as logging in with that gmail email address

sounds like your connection or their connection is having issues since the error specifically said it was a connection issue and its happening to multiple games on there. but i would recommend to stop trying to play hi3 on that app or at least if you do be mentally prepared that your hi3 account can get banned at any time for violating the terms of service
the issue is that you're playing on hardware that is not yours and sharing your account info with the cloud gaming app because they have access to your saved login data on their hardware. thats a violation of the ToS since account sharing of any kind is forbidden

hmm why is some audio in HI3 pc doesnt work
like in some part the sfx or music wont play
ex. Chapter XI, APHO lobby music is totally muted
ex.2 while in Part 2 hub world, characters SFX is muted while the music works normally
Probably some assets are corrupted/missing, run a repair and check again those chapters/modes

that is because you login in the incorrect server, the GLB client let you connect to NA and EU servers(you can change it on the top-right on the login screen), and your data is link to just 1 server, so if you login to the other will create a new one for just that server

GLB client has both EU and NA, so you might have ended up on the other server
is normal, play the story and you will know why is like that

A friend try to play on a similar device and had multiple crashes on "weekly stuff" but was kinda playable, on part 2 stuff is almost unplayable, and everything was on the lowest setting

tbh i turned off the part2 bridge on my pc cuz even though it handles it it makes my AMD graphics card sound like its taking flight and i dont want me checking my abyss score to be announced to the whole house lol
(just to clarify, my GPU can handle part 2 fine, but its the sudden increase from the elevator loading screen to the part 2 bridge and my gpu fans work overtime to compensate for that sudden increase in temp)

well like i said a few messages ago, they typically process things within 1-3 business days which is a lot faster than most of the video game customer support i've had to deal with over the years which can take a week or two at least. but the only thing you can do is wait until you hear back from them

then might have been a connection issue i guess, you can always try it one more time but dont try it more than one more time

I somehow managed to fix it (for now) after clicking retry for the 5th time it started downloading game assets
i gotcha, sounds like a connection issue or an unzipping issue, usually those are a connection issue so if it happens again you can click check details and if it gives any kind of HTTP error or something like that try the connection issue stuff in this pin #štechnical-help message
if its something else then you can ask again in the future and we can try to find the problem

then yeah theres a connection issue, it doesnt matter if your internet is fine because the issue isnt with your general internet connection, its with your connection to honkais servers specifically. try all the stuff in that pin i linked earlier it fixes it
