Google account login ≠ email login
When you login with Google account the game don't get the email to login, what get is the *Google ID".
To use the email you have to link it directly to HYV but in your case is already use on another HYV account, that you could made by accident or by playing another HYV game (HSR/TOT/GI...)

because google account and email address are two different login methods

you have a google acc (which is counted as a 3rd party link) linked to hoyo account #1, and your email address from the same google acc linked to hoyo account #2

since the game progress is different because of different hoyo accounts, that's why you got confused

you can also tell different hoyo accs by their ID after logging in

Probably better to login on HoYoLAB, that way you can check the battle chronicles on your profile to see the genshin data to confirm

Ok so here's the difference i just witnessed:
If i put the password and email manually, it will set the name of the account as my email, but it i use ''More login methods'' ( google ) and login with that, it uses the name of my account ( not in-game name, i think you know, dont want to bother more than i already do )

Like I said before Google account don't give the email to make the login to the game, it give the Google Account ID (that is kinda hidden by google for the users), for example you can have a Google account without a "Gmail", like using email from another provider, number phones, etc.

Now, you have 2 account, this last one you send is the one using your email (Gmail)
And the other you send before was using your Google account

so the main issue is that the game only has support for xinput (basically xbox controllers) which is the default windows one so stuff like dualshock controllers are a bit of hit or miss on if they work, like they'll work one day and then not the next sometimes if windows changes anything. considering your other controller isnt working either i'd check and make sure that your windows is up to date and reboot your computer, if all else fails the steam method is pretty reliable for getting it to work, dont install the game on steam but try these instructions to run your non-steam version of honkai through steam to let steam handle the controller stuffs #🔌technical-help message

well yes, any interaction with the bank the bank will need to make sure that you're the account owner. I wasnt writing a word for word script so i left that part out but yes you'll need to identify yourself with the bank so they know its you

but the issue is on your banks end, so once they get their part figured out it should start working, idk what other info your bank will need like maybe purchase times and stuff like that but they're your bank, its their job to make sure you can spend your money so they'll ask for anything they need and stuff

probably some kind of anti fraud thing. lots of banks will not allow some online things if your account info changes until they get the green light from the account person

also as a work around while you get this figured out with the bank since you play on the global server. if install honkai from the epic games store and top up from in there it uses paypal which is a lot more "ok" with banks

and yes the epic games store is safe, its the same exact thing as the regular version of the game except it adds 1 single file to change the top up screen.
you would go to top up and put in your debit card details like any other online purchase

yes it would, i dont have it installed via epic so i cant get screenshots myself and yes it has helped other people that were having issues with the top up

but all you have to do to try is install epic games store launcher. install honkai from there and open honkai from the epic games store launcher and that should let you top up. its the same process just the screen looks a little different

epic version is the exact same way except it looks like the screenshot ihofox sent. What they were talking about in their last message is to make sure to not close the popup window until it says payment is confirmed. but its all done in game like normal

Yeah you are lol but it's ok, you sound very nervous about even using epic game launcher in the first place so you're over thinking it. Epic has a better payment system than hoyoverse so it works better than the normal one and hoyoverse has officially endorsed and put their game on epic themselves so it's but sketchy or account ban worthy. Just try it and if you have problems you can ask questions but this is all very safe and legitimate so just give it a try

Computer method did not work

I need help with purchasing stuff and this is summary of my situation:
I live in country A
My normal appleid is located in country A
I have a method of payment but it is on country A's appleid as well as it's using country A's currency
I cannot download HI3rd using the appleid in country A so i made one in country B
Country B and A have differing currencies
I tried purchasing/topping up on AppleId A but it didn't work
I swapped to AppleId B to try but it did not work as i need to register a valid form of payment but my valid form of payment is on country A/appleid A
I have attempted to assign the form of payment onto Appleid B as well as have attempted to buy it on laptop through the epic games launcher. Both of these attempts have not worked

I believe i really need to get a form of payment in country B or somehow purchase HI3 on country A's appleid but both of which i have no clue how to do

honestly at this point theres no other official method of payment that im aware of so i'd recommend contacting honkai customer support #how-to-contact-cs to see what they can think of and if they cant help maybe apple support? since the core of the issue is with apple and their apple pay system not working well with stuff outside of the region of the apple payment method

just go to your account profile and go to account and if there isnt an option to unlink it then you can click on user center to auto log you into account.hoyoverse.com where you can try to unlink it there. yes you're still over thinking it. it is still processing becuase all transactions (not just online ones) usually take a few days or more to go through. but while the transaction is pending they've "deducted" the funds from your account until it goes through. they're not gonna double charge you for something and if you pay close attention to your bank account you'll see almost every transaction you make goes into pending/processing for at least a day

hmm, a few things that i know of that can cause this, but if none of this helps then try customer support #how-to-contact-cs since they're actually paid to help peoples issues

-Make sure the bh3.exe in the games installation folder (default location is C:\program files\honkai impact 3rd\games) is set to run as admin, you can do this by right clicking it and clicking properties and in the compatability tab check that.
-make sure you dont have any registry cleaner software like from your antivirus or something isnt "cleaning" your cache and logging you out.

Here's a tip but I DON'T RECOMMEND it at all because the setting stated is related to your device protection.

Turn off Memory Integrity in Windows Defender, restart your PC. Open HI3rd. If it opens, login. But another error will enter which is "Failed to download blah". Check "remote-network" then retry. Another error will showup but with "Backup system" box this time. Check it then retry. And you can play it now, I guess?
If it doesn't have problems anymore, then turn on Memory Integrity again, restart your device and try opening HI3rd.

once, you made sure its linked, we need to make sure that you have downloaded the correct client on your pc: when you open the pc launcher, make sure that it says Honkai Impact 3rd, not Honkai Impact 3. the "3" client is meant for the SEA server.

Follow the steps that cactism give you, Google account login ≠ email login, you need to link a email to your mobile HYV account to use it on any other device

If you don't have the game on mobile, you can login to account.hoyoverse using Google account and link the email there

Keep in mind that because you already have the email link on another HYV account, you need to unlink it if you want to use on your main account or just use a new email

its tied to the logged in huawei account logged in on your huawei appgalley, you have to log out of the account there and log into a different huawei account

if you want to see the hoyoverse login page then you need to disable auto updates in the app gallery and then manually install (and manually update) the android .apk links in the first pin

i was about to try clearing the registry keys before contacting them but forgot. they told me to clear the registry keys and it worked LOL

there is no need to use compatibility mode or admin anymore

the solution for BH3.exe stalling on launch with no indication/window open is to:

1. Win + r to open windows run dialogue
2. enter regedit to open the registry editor
3. navigate to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\miHoYo
4. delete 崩壊３ folder
5. restart
   they also advised to delete the folder C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3rd in file explorer

are you perhaps installing the game on an external drive? If so, make sure that the file system is in either NTFS or exFAT as they support large files, while FAT32 does not.

to confirm this, open the file explorer and right-click the drive you’re planning on installing on, and it should display its file system

if it’s not in either NTFS or exFAT you’re going to need to reformat the entire drive, which will delete all data

afaik, no - once it’s been linked to a hoyoverse account, you cannot migrate its data to another hoyoverse account

you can try #how-to-contact-cs to tell them that’s you’ve accidentally linked to a wrong hoyoverse account, but from previous reports i see in this channel i don’t think they will help you

that is because that hoyoverse account was created via Google Play authentication, not your email

Google Play log-in is not the same as your email ||unless you’ve linked both of them into the same account, which is not applicable in your case||
