you'll have to take your best guess, theres no real way to look that info up. thats why its asked for on this form since only the original account owner would remember. for the first login though if you can remember what patch/event/big character that had come out you can lookup the version release date for them. for the last login you'd just have to guess on that one, but do try to be as accurate as possible since if its wildly wrong it wont help get the account recovered

I restarted the game because I got scared (everything works fine now tho) but when I logged in, there seemed to be like a weird glitch. I don’t know if it has to do with any filters or something or lighting, but everything was like a normal model idk how to explain it, but it’s like you ported a model from hi3 to something like idk, gmod. steam client uses the steamID to login and has no ability to use the hoyoverse accounts. you'll have to uninstall that (or keep it, it doesnt really matter) and install the regular pc client, the links for the pc launcher are in the first pinned message

you should be fine, it wont trigger the anti-cheat or anything. and glitches happen from time to time, especially on older hardware or if your drivers are out of date

iphone 14 should be able to handle the game well enough though so its not old or anything issue, if this is still happening on like medium graphics settings too then it sounds like a bad installation and reinstalling should fix most of it, but then again the games not perfect so some glitches will still eventually happen

Most of these are minor glitches and just restarting the game fixed them, and the models glitching out sometimes don’t affect the game itself most of the time and are minor like Kallen’s or HoV’s hand twisting slightly.

ah that is probably it tbh. honkai is kinda designed around being a high performance game, and battery saver mode while it does a great job saving the battery, it also low key makes the game more unstable

because just because you linked it to a google account doesnt automatically link that google accounts email address to your hoyoverse so its possible there is no email linked

google account and email address are considered two entirely seperate logins that can be on different hoyoverse accounts so please double check account.hoyoverse.com to see if you have a linked email

you can download the basic/sd option, with that option you only download the min files to do mostly just daily stuff, but when you enter a stage will ask you to download the files for that stage...
imo, if you are just starting, i recommend to download all the assets, only when you reach the "endgame" you can go with the basic one if you want

after installing, the archive will be deleted, and it will take less space than what's written there

but that just counts the archive files, don't forget that there are additional audio and CG files as well that are downloaded in-game later

Like always, is the "install files", the update it's just a reinstall of those files.
You still need to download files inside the game, it's just that if you update you don't need to redownload the stuff you already have

every update the full game package is downloaded

that only applies to the initial download inside the launcher, not the files in-game

The Esc key doesn't necessarily act as a 'End Task' button — or as you mentioned, the Alt-F4 function — it just prompts you if you want to quit the game if you're not in a stage (Dialogue, Story Stages, Abyss, etc.). When you're in a stage, the key pauses all timers and the game, opening the pause menu

but yes, having the option for the user to change the key is a good thing to have imo

you cant transfer the Data to the SD Card , even if its possible the SD Card Random read and write speed is not enough to do it (except you have UHS-II and A2)

it would delete your general hoyo account, unfortunately there is no way to delete just a honkai account so if you dont wanna delete the hoyo account along with all the games associated with it then your only real option is to make a new hoyo account and use that, or maybe if your on the global server to just switch from NA to EU and use europe for the fresh account if you dont already have one on the europe server.

but not even customer support will delete accounts that are past the first mission so your only option is eu server if possible or a new hoyoverse account for the starting fresh

hoyoverse link is the same one the launcher uses so if theres a connection issue causing it to the hoyoverse server then it might get corrupted even manually downloading it from hoyoverse, try downloading either mega or google drive option. oh yeah try moving it to the games folder first and if that doesnt work then try downloading from a different source

are you sure that you havent dropped even a half dozen packets in the last hour or so?

stuff like youtube not buffering isnt a good indication of stable internet since it can deal with totally dropped internet for a good 30 seconds before it starts having issues whereas a 13GB single file download can easily get corrupted if your internet loses connection for a quarter of a second

the launcher itself loads a corrupted file...the file from hoyovers/mega is the exact same file as the launcher loads.

I have uninstalled and reloaded the game many times now. Opened the launcher and pressed download. It downloads 13.81GB and then checks the data. Here comes the message that they are corrupted. If I have the external data from the hoyoverse/mega and put it in the games folder, I have the data twice because the launcher generates the data itself again.

what do you mean? the file names are gonna be the same for the manual download. the manual download thing is just downloading a copy of the launcher update file from somehwere else like mega for instance and then putting it in the right place for the launcher.

but like i said a few messages ago you could try one of the community launchers in the first pin since they handle the whole updating process better. if the issue is with the hoyoverse launcher and not with your internet then using one of those launchers would fix it and update properly. if using a different launcher does not fix it then the issue is 100% the network connection and you would need to try stuff like using a VPN or manually downloading via an internet download manager to help improve stability.

what you also could do is manually download from the url again, open the archive file and check if it still says it's corrupt then directly extract to the Games folder. that's what i did. you may need to edit the config.ini (Games folder) to say game_version=7.1.0 but idk if that's still required anymore

and you deleted the .tmp file before adding the manually downloaded file in there right? if you did then the launcher is replacing your downloaded file becuase what it does is if the update file is corrupted then it replaces it when it goes to redownload

I've been using both for over 2 years with no issues but its up to you, make sure to hoyoverse know at #how-to-contact-cs so their customer support can help, none of the hoyo staff are in here so they wont see your issue
