I have opera gx open side by side while playing
Strangely enough, usually when honkai starts crashing first thing i'd do is to update my driver, yet with this time my drivers are "up-to-date"
I'll double check and try to redownload updates again

i gotcha, a lot of times the auto driver update software doesnt get the intel cpu graphics chipset drivers becasue the computers manufacturor thinks its up to date so update it with the link delta provided. if that still doesnt help then i think the next likely culprit is lack of ram, see your game has to use its fair share of ram as well as some of the ram as VRAM to render all the graphics which between those two can take up quite a lot especially if the graphics are set to mid or higher so its possible that on more graphically intensive things like abyss its just running out of ram between having opera open, the game and using your RAM as a pseudo graphics card. You could try turning the graphics down or closing opera if its still happening after updating your drivers

for what its worth the other games have this as a common issue too, its just since they're on different servers whenever someone has this issue it just affects one of the games, if you really dont want to use your hotspot a VPN usually helps and the one in the 2nd pin is free and good so you can always try that too if you'd like. but yeah the core of the issue is that on the long list of connections between your device and the game server (like 20 different jumps or "nodes") one of them is just having persistent problems so thats why your phone works, its internet connection is taking a different route physically

please keep in mind that steam and epic are on different servers so unless you're intentionally wanting to play on two accounts you'll need to stick with the one you were originally using to stay on the same account.

But if you havent tried a VPN please first try that, the second pin has a good free one (also keep in mind that if the VPN you try has japan as a connection option, dont use that, use a different country. for whatever reason japan has issues connecting to non JP servers if your account is not in JP)

if you've tried the VPN already and it doesnt work please next try clearing out your cache with these steps #🔌technical-help message

ah that might be why, might have to tweak that down a bit. i have a 5700xt as well and on a 1080p ultrawide and the quality preset. i max it at around 69% depending on the area. older stages are lower percentage, newer ones are not.

but i'd recommend either tweaking the graphics down a little, double checking your drivers are up to date and so on but that doesnt sound unreasonable for a 5700xt at that resolution and graphics settings

yeah you'd get a lot better performance on 1080p windowed mode, a lot of the vram is taken up just by your resolution

unfortunaly you cant move the game to the SD, and even if you could, the game is not going to work properly because of the SD random read / write speeds, could take like 10 min to get in to a stage (only a UHS-III A2 probably could run it, but most phones don't have support for those cards)

oh yeah thats not a cg so i cant really compare the non CN cg's but i dont remember seeing it either so it sounds like just a choice by the devs for the non cn version since if it is a bug its affecting everyone not on the CN version. there are lots of little differences between the cn and non cn versions of the game since they use CN as a final feedback tweak iirc.

yeah it makes sense, so i was just confirming but long story short its a very underpowered phone for a game like honkai, and you said that all the graphics settings were at the lowest? make sure the local values in the settings are as low as they can go too since those heavily affect apho2.

but to sum up your phone is very underpowered gaming wise and coupled with the fact apho2 is one of the most graphically instensive sections of the game so after double checking that everything is as low as they can go (keep battery saver off, its is usually more laggy than having it on) thats as good as your phone will do, cant really make the hardware work harder if that makes sense

Context : Been a while since I played honkai impact 3rd, and when I tried again on my phone I needed to have a hoyoverse account so I made one and logged in game but couldn't link it to my original account. So I went to search why and it was because I logged in the game with my hoyoverse account without linking it by doing the account retrieval option. (I think, I didn't really understand how it worked) Now I deleted my hoyoverse account (the one that had an account but not my original one). So I joined the official discord to get help.

I messed up to link my original google play account onto an hoyoverse account, I really have to wait 30 days, in order for the account to be fully removed and try again ? I mean, I can wait one month, that's not an issue, I just hope the game isn't going to update too much in the meantime, otherwise I don't know if I can do the procedure on my laptop since my phone isn't very strong nor has a lot of storage left.

Any clarification on how to do it properly is welcomed.

first of all, that HYV account have info for other games that you play?
remember that deleting an HYV account will delete any game account link to it, so if you played GI-HSR-TOT... those accounts are going to be deleted

okay idk if by starting the deleting process will make the things more difficult, but if on the accidental account you didn't finish the tutorial, you can ask CS to unbind that accidental one, so then you can link your old account
this option can take some couple of days

the faster option is to yous create a new account and use that one to link it, but you will need to use a new email/3rd party login

if you cancel the deleting process, you probably should be able to change the email on the "accidental" one to a dump email, and then your email to create the new account

if you want to create a new account with your email yeah, because that HYV account is going to be "abandoned" you need to link there some email that you are not going to use
but before that, you create the account using email or google account?

those are different login method, the first is using directly a email/pass in the game, the other is using the google icon that is on the login screen

okay, so go to account.hoyoverse.com and login, on the security tab check that the delete is cancel, and change your account email to a dump one
once you finish the process and your email is not link to that account, you can close session, and on the same site create a new account using the email that you want

after your created the account, without login in the game yet, follow the steps of the account retrieval and when ask you for a HYV account use the one you just created with your email
in case you need the retrieval steps you can find them on this pin

actually idk, the newest model is still 3 years old by now, should have support. I'd contact customer support since it should work but you can try restarting your phone and doing any iOS updates if any are pending because as far as im aware of it should work

and with iOS the things you can do to try and fix it are limited to making sure that its connected properly to your phone and works for other stuff, then maybe the red repair icon at the login screen, or reinstalling

are you gettin ga failed to link error? it should tell you why it cant complete the linking. if its saying that your hi3 account is already linked then you'll need to contact customer support for help on finding the hoyoverse account your honkai is on #how-to-contact-cs

if it says that the hoyoverse account already has a honkai account linked to it then you'll need to make a new hoyoverse account and complete the linking before trying to log into the game
