i gotcha, so your old account still exists, its probably just still on the old mihoyo account system from back before the switch to hoyoverse accounts on july 1 2022. you'll need to do account retrieval to link your old account to a different hoyoverse account than the one you accidentally made a new account with

well you can email customer support and explain your issue and ask to unlink the accidental account, but it involves a semi lengthy account ownership proving process (they dont go around unlinking accounts all willy nilly) and its not really a service they do but you can always try, they do it sometimes #how-to-contact-cs

HI3 Steam ver. uses your Steam ID directly. If you wish to switch accounts, login to a different Steam ID on Steam. When you launch game, it'll use the Steam ID currently logged in. If Steam ID is not associated with any HI3 account, it'll register a new one once you login.

I downloaded HI3 on Android after not playing for a year, but it seems that it is stuck at updating settings window, it never goes beyond 0.00%, i tried changing network too

if you can, enter the game, try just to get a screenshot of the profile an then don't log anymore until the process is done,
but for the other questions, like if they ask you for receipts, just make something on paint, notes,etc and write something like "no (the thing they ask), is an accidental account"

if the question is really asking for info about the old account, then you should put the UID of the old account on a image,
but still should work with that iirc, still keep in mind that if is rejected you can try again and there try putting the old UID if you get again that question

try deleting the 4.5_PV_16668903F808B950_1 file that you will find on:

and the use the repair file option
Android: on the elevetor screen, button on the lower left corner

for example i have 2, one that is slow af, but have the best routing so i never have problems on HI3 (an i have this when the glb ver. released)... but my faster one... i have problems like every 1 hr with any game/app that have servers far enough

probably you are just unlucky with the time and you just try to play when the routing of your ISP you have problems...
the issue most of the time is "fix" between some min/hrs (for most users) up to like 2 weeks
still if you have another network(like mobile data<>wifi<>tethering), you can try to use it when your main one is giving you problems

and your gpu drivers need update as well

and tbh after the change to USM the quality of the old videos are really bad ingame if you play on big screens, only the later ones (like from chapter 30 onward) are in "good" quality
so is better to see them on YT anyways

still... if you can, try to do a clean install (better wait for the next patch that is coming soon) and see if that could work

Sometimes when playing honkai with keyboard and mouse on a windows 10 PC, my left mouse button appears to be always pressed.

it happens while fighting, and the interesting thing is: I'm not even using my mouse button for fighting. i'm using only the keyboard.

I already contacted customer support and i disabled the display of the joycon, but that didn't help.

when it was visible you could clearly see that the joystick moved in the same direction as the mouse when i moved it, but without pressing the left mouse button, and the character followed that direction, leading to the conclusion that there must be some glitch where my LMB is pressed

is there anyone who has the same issue or can someone help me with this?

can you do a test? open the game and then go into a stage and pause it with the keyboard and then unplug the mouse and unpause the stage and see if it still thinks the LMB is always pressed, that would eliminate some windows bug vs a hardware issue

well i can try but the thing is, this issue is not easy reproducable. it just happens occasionally and i never found a way to reproduce it on my own will.

however, i can tell that the issue stops as soon as i manually press the left mouse button.

tbh it sounds like your mouse itself on the fritz, if you have another mouse (even an old one) i'd test that one or at least the next time it happens i'd unplug your mouse and see if that helps. if it stops when you press it then i think the button or the sensor itself is just bugging out. if it has drivers i'd try reinstalling those too but yeah next time it happens try unplugging it to see if its a windows bug or a mouse hardware issue (personally i think its a hardware issue but who knows really)

the thing is, the issue is only happening in honkai. for everything else it works just fine and i'd have noticed because i'm typing a lot. suddenly klicking or being pressed never happend on any other application.

My personal assumption is that there's some bug within the game that it occasionally goes into some kind of loop. thing is, even when tabbing out of the game, the mouse is still pressed in-game, but not out-of-game.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? That would fix any game bug and it's definitely not a widespread issue, I've never heard of it before

okay... so i could reproduce it. duno how, but mobius seems to be most bugged so i tried with her 🤣 maybe it happens when swithcing between ult and weapon button

so, after the issue occurred i switched into pause, unplugged the mouse and unpaused, the issue persisted, when i then went to pause again the issue is gone. but once i plugged the mouse back in the issue was back there. then i tabbed out, clicked on the browser, tabbed in and it worked again

Well yeah, mostly due to no I've else ever having this issue in the last 9 months I've been in here every day so I don't think it's a rare logic issue with the game stuff, and if it was then wouldn't it be happening regardless if you had a mouse plugged in or not? It's possible something in between the game and Windows on which case reinstalling the mouse drivers for Windows might fix that so that's why I suggested that.

as i said it still happened when i had my mouse plugged out. only after i paused and unpaused the game again after that it finally understood that there is no mouse. so my assumption is that it is related to the mouse emulation.

Change the password to your email, Facebook, everything you can think of. This one is very important, immediately after changing the issue to your email sign it out of all devices. That one is very very very important. If you don't go to your email account and sign out of all devices (you can Google how to do it for your kind of email like Gmail, etc) then changing any password is pointless. But anyways after that contact customer support and give them the UID of your account and explain that you've been hacked and they'll start account recovery process #how-to-contact-cs

And also pls do follow this guide to avoid future danger

Don't download files offering free items / fps boost
Don't click links and putting your information there
Don't share account
Do link email and phone number for 2FA activation
Activate gaming email 2FA
Don't use the same password
Don't use your username as nickname

Additional Note:
When using Hoyoverse on Web browser clear cookies after using them or just use incognito so that cookies used will be auto deleted (This is just for extra safety measures)
Do not save passwords on your browser it's better if you write it down or a password manager

If you can access your main account? No unfortunately, customer support doesn't do account transfers as a service. If you can't access your old account then they can help with account recovery. (Though if you just want to change the linked email you can do that if you don't mind changing the linked email for the hoyoverse account you wanted it on, though that would affect any other games already on that hoyoverse account like genshin and stuff)

yes that will delete the entire hoyoverse account and while it wont actually delete the genshin or star rail accounts it will make you unable to log into them and there is no account retrieval link option for those two games

so it essentially deletes them for all intents and purposes

it wont get a ban or anything no. but if they can currently access their honkai account then customer support cant help since they dont offer that type of thing as a service, they only unbind accounts if the owner cannot access it so its more of an account recovery thing. but either way it wont result in a ban or anything if they ask so they can ask customer support (assuming they cant access their honkai account)

the main reason they only do it as an account recovery is because part of the process is deleting the hoyoverse account and migrating all the game accounts to a newly created hoyoverse account iirc

Here is what Hoyoverse should do in a event of if an account is hacked how other game devs do it they would need receipts of the last purchase made , last email used like the one used to sign up it would be helpful I just being honest

Ex: Purchased crystals of 5 dollars I get receipt in email to be used as reference , proof of ownership because receipts helps if email can't be recovered on rare moments the email on acc can be changed in game to new email provided. It is possible I done this with a game dev from another game and they went straight to changing my email

I don't feel at ease live streaming on Twitch at all I have my reasons too many things happen on twitch

imo that is not the best solution, most of the time that users get their account hack and come here, they have the "current" email hack too, so the bad actors already have the last receipts
and about the receitps you can ask your bank / app store / etc. for any of the old purchases.

still you don't need receipts to prove ownership of the account, they ask you a long list of things, that the receipts help a lot is true, but if you fill most of the other information incorrectly, they will simply not accept your attempt, so you need to start the process again

on HYV accounts to being able to login on a new device you need to put the 2FA code they send you if you register your email (something that most users that use 3rd party login don't do)...
the problems is that some users use the same password, username, etc. so if 1 thing is leaked online they have every one of the account of the person, especially if they never enable more security options
for example on one of my older email i see like 1 person every month trying to login but cant do it, it could be that i change my password when it was leaked or that they need the 2FA code to enter

hello, so im a returning player that hasnt played for more than 6 months so when i came back to honkai, my email address for my hoyoverse account was changed. by the looks of it its been changed to a fake email and since its mostly redacted i cant even put in that email to check if it works. i have no way of logging in as my account was only binded to my email so i contacted CS 3 seperate times but they responded with i am unable to prove that the account is mine. i have the player ID and screenshots my friends provided of my account if that helps. i dont know what to do to get my account back. pls help

so unfortunately theres nothing we can do to get your account back, we're all just players like you so you do have to go through customer support. The reason they've been rejecting your answers to the form is due to the information being inaccurate. If you want to try again heres some tips.

make sure it is as detailed and accurate as possible. when it asks your location when you created the account, put your city and state/provice and country. if it asks what device you created the account on then dont put "phone" put "Samsung A13" or if it was a computer then put the laptop model or if it was a custom built desktop then fill out the specs or provide the motherboard manufacturer along with cpu brand and all that.

if you cant remember when you created the account then try your best to remember the event or new character that happened when you started playing and look at HI3'rds youtube channel for a date of when that version released, all the PV's are close to when the trailers came out. For purchase recipts if you played on mobile then google play store or apple store would have purchase history that you can look through. also if you started playing on mobile google play store or apple store has installation history as well so you can try that.

but long story short it needs to be accurate and detailed or hoyoverse cant officially say as a company that you're the original owner of the account and just hand it over to you. you need to answer questions that no one else but you would know. your friends know your ID, I could look through invite codes in here and maybe see your ID so thats not proof of account ownership, only stuff that you and only you would know.

sorry i just woke up. I very very very highly do not recommend downloading unverified .exe attachments from discord, thats a good way to get hacked. you can go to https://www.7-zip.org/ the official site for 7zip and then download the right version for your computer (64-bit windows version is the version for 99% of users) and then after its installed you can go to the installation folder and copy paste the 7z.exe to your launcher folder (the folder with launcher.exe in it). while you're in there double check if you have a 7z.dll file or not (if its missing you can get 7z.dll from the installation of 7zip that you got from their site too)

(making this for copy pasta reasons)

If captains are getting the failed to replace files error, delete the file in the message. After that close the launcher and open task manager to verify it is closed (there can be some open processes in the background) and then open launcher and let it update

If you are getting failed to unzip because 7z.exe does not exist then please go to https://www.7-zip.org/ and install 7zip from the official source and close the launcher then:

1. Go to your launcher folder \Honkai Impact 3#####\ (it would have launcher.exe in it)
2. Verify if you are missing 7z.exe AND 7z.dll or just 7z.exe
3. Go to C:\Program Files\7-Zip\ then copy and paste the missing files from there to your launcher folder

it looks like some users have the same launcher update problem, here some tips (if one doesn't work try the next one, and so on):

2. Check that your AV is not blocking the installation by having a scan process just at the same time that the launcher update is running 
3. Sometimes windows could have installation problems because it just started incorrectly, a simple restart should fix that
4. if nothing of that works:
-copy your game files and put them on other location (default path: #\Honkai Impact 3###\Games\ )
-then uninstall the launcher (its going to delete the game files that why we copy them before)
-restart your pc and then reinstall the launcher
-when the launcher is running and updated, move the game files if you want, click on "locate files" and select the folder that has BH3.exe inside```

honestly if you're ok with putting up with in the best scenario some big performance loss then you can try, but i really really do not recommend installing on a thumb drive

Tbh you need to find the perfect settings yourself, depending of every device can have different performance even with the same specs... What I can tell you is that post processing can be a little heavy on the performance depending on the device, for example HDR enable bloom too just doesn't tell you, physics can be heavy too

About "local values" that only take effect on maps/stages release after apho2 so if the new maps run slow for you, you need to lower the settings there

yes, it wont scan your entire computer in case you already downloaded it, it only looks in teh default spot. cancel that download, and set the game location to where your honkai is currently located.

Afaik that error most of the time show that windows had a faulty update process and/or that some system files are corrupted... Most of the time you can just reinstall the program so it get the essential files, but still is the best to repair/restore/reinstall windows

Uffff could be many things, like I said before could be a faulty update process, that a bad power off just corrupt some files, that the drive is having problems, or that is dying, that you have some virus, etc. Anything related to making imposible to the OS read the necessary files

The solution is simple, just open your task manager and see if there are several launchers of the game open, if that is the case, close all except the one that says update at the bottom and then click on retry and that's it, problem solved.

so panning "mode" uses the virtual cursor to pan iirc and doing the normal attacks makes the mouse cursor stick there i think preventing the pan. i know the entire point of you doing emulator is to use mouse click but you can easily test if that is the case by just mapping the normal attack to any other button and just testing it once. if it works fine then im right and basically the answer is that using the mouse cursor doesnt work even on emulator. if it does the same thing then we can check some other stuff

ufff this could be the main problem, apart that you have a 10yr old low end cpu, your RAM+iGPU is not enough for high demand scenes like that one. you have less that the min specs (8gb RAM)
because your iGPU get memory from your RAM you will end will just 2gbRAM~2gbVRAM

so in short on any stage/missions from APH0 2 onward you are going to experience problems

you could try lowering the game resolution but you will still get difficulties to run the game afaik
at least you could try to update your RAM to a 4GBx2 if you have the slots to have "enough" available resources

you need to check on your pc if something could be blocking/interrupting the game to open the ZFGBrowser
for example, in my case some time ago, win enable again the "bing desktop searchbar" and it was bugged that didnt even show, but it was making that any program that need to load a link ended up tabbing out,
it could be that the browser is bugging out so when the browser opens don't do the "boot" process in the background and a simple restart could solve it, etc...

@keen flame so test done, you dont have to click pre isntall for the launcher to recognize it. make sure that any version.tmp downloads (should look very similar to the manual one you downloaded but with a .tmp at the end) are deleted and that you've totally closed and reopened the launcher (not minimized to tray if you have that set, but totally closed and reopened)

if you've done all that then yes you'll need to redownload, try the google mirror link if you tried the official one first

oh and make sure that this is in the games folder or the same folder with BH3.exe if yours is in a different folder

cuz otherwise you have to contact hoyoverse support [e-mail] and tell them your issue and start the account recovery process which requires a lengthy form to prove ownership that you have to get very accurate otherwise they cant prove you're the original, genuine owner of the account and wont give it to you
