For something like Edgar Allan Poe’s stories (or also Lovecraft) any visuals would get in the way of imagination, internal monologues of Leto II from Dune couldn’t really get any visuals or sounds either really
on the other hand something like Dark Souls or Silent Hill 2 wouldn’t really work as a book
