Resonance Disc seems to stop working

Since the update, in two runs I noticed that Resonance Disc stops working from the stage after it was picked up. When killing an enemy, no buff marker shows up above the health bar and the physical disc cannot be seen floating behind the survivor as usual.

In my latest run, I scrapped one resonance disc and picked up another one. It worked for both stages I picked one up (stage 1 and 4) but no other stage.

I am playing on Steamdeck and on both runs this was observed I was playing as Operator. I'm not sure if this is related.
