Yeah, Ethereal seems like a bit much. If it didn't count damage from lesser wisp and hitting fire elites trail after using Blinding Assault, it might be more do-able.
Titanic Plains being the first stage in the run is aggravating when it happens too. Because there's nothing to run behind to avoid wisp when skills are on cooldown.

I think the latest seed is pretty good for for Ethereal: Topaz, E-Shield, Tougher Times, and Aegis in 1st stage. I was able to pick up those, plus Backup Magazine, ATK Missiles, Lens Maker's, Fireworks, Preon Accumulator, and an incinerator drone. The boss is just a stone titan (with Harvester Scythe as a reward). He spawns right by the drone and on a higher level than the teleporter, so i buy the drone, activate teleporter, and let the drone do its work until the titan is about at half health. You can safely poke him too. Once he's at about half, you can finish him off with Preon.
There are at least two E-shields in the second stage, not sure what the boss is yet, but there are a lot of lesser wisps and stone golems that are kind of difficult to dodge.

the first rdm shrine when you spawn give you turtle on fist try after go right from it you will find the first crystal with one crate open it free shield gen, after that return to your spawn and go take the aegis on the 50g crate and the pron next to it, or the lense (near from spawn), after this im stuck cause im not fast enought and not good enought to finish the run perfect :/ but i think its a good starter

crits double your damage, procs use the hit to determine their damage so say the missile launcher is 300% of the damage you dealt, thats 300% of that extra spicy crit damage, and then guess what? That big juicy proc hit is also doubled by the crit. You don't need a lot of items when you have 100% crit for 8 seconds

Hey, on the topic of Mercs Prism trial 100%HP challenge: Does anyone know if shield from the personal shield generator counts as your health in that challenge? I know that barrier doesn't, but I did it in the trial that's on at the moment and I can't recal being hit in my HP outside of my shield and barrier. Did anyone encounter anything similar or did I just not notice the HP damage?

Yes, but they behave completely differently, as in they don't regenerate through healing but over time after not being hit. On top of that shield in general is there to protect damage to your health. I was just saying it seems couterintuitive to me. I see the Transcendence point though, that's probably the main reason they did that

@distant forge Possibly, I know it is perfect for Huntress's Rallypoint Delta challenge, just completed it with minimal effort. Just below spawn next to a Time Crystal is a multishop that has a Topaz Brooch, then on the other side of the second row of large crates is another multishop with a ? option that contains a Soldier's Syringe, then there is a chest somewhere on the way to the edge of the area that has another syringe, and at that edge area there is an Equipment Barrel that contains a Primordial Cube. I haven't explored too much in it or passed the first stage so there could easily be more goodies, but the start seems pretty nice.
There is also a Lunar Pod at the high up cliff with the radio tower that contains a Shaped Glass, and up there is also the box that contains the Preon Accumulator

If you buy the newt shrine on the first level, lunar shop gives you a SECOND shaped glass. I used that to kill the overloading stone titan at point-blank range using the preon. No timing required.

@tame cedar Current seed makes it easy. At start, pitch over the back of where you spawn and there's immediately a multishop w/ topaz broach (by the time crystal). Buy newt altar on coast. Climb hill to TP where there is also a preon and a lunar bud w/ shaped glass. Almost instant kill boss and move on. At lunar shop, there is a second shaped glass. Purchase the fire stage (maybe? I didn't run it without doing so, it might change the boss?) With preon and 2 glass, you insta-kill the second boss as well.
If you don't waste time you can speed through it in 5-6 minutes.

up right next to the teleporter, and there are a few 
in shops around in case you needed even better damage. All of these components can be found on Rallypoint, but if you fail the challenge against the 
, you can always try again against the Overloading

800% vs 1700% is a big difference. Also ion has a 2 second longer cd which just destroys any hope of a rotation that you barely already have
I'd love it if it was a snap freeze alt, does the same damage as if all the pillars hit but you lose the execute. You could also pop yourself up to greater wisps etc to flamethrow them

Hovers good on siren and abysall, period. Imps are artis biggest enemy when u can't snapfreeze all, same with big lemmies. Flmaethrower just dies late game, but dominates earlygame. You can still sprint with tiny stops while hitting m1 and m2

i beat it without a proc in a different run, just make sure wisps die and you use iframes correctly
skip heal phase by saving capacitor and waiting until it goes up before 1/4hp

yeah, the one that ends in 30 mins was a beetle queen on the extra green starter stage, and then an overloading wandering vagrant on the other starting stage

The current seed seens nice to try.. There is two shops next to each otehr with Topaz Brooch on them

Yeah.. I managed to do the first map but the second was impossible cuz the boss happens to be Blazing Beetle Warriors.. I hate Horde of Many so much.. Oh well, will wait for the next one..

i keep getting sniped by the never-ending spawn of wisps... or when the final teleporter starts, i cannot get those damn bugs to walk off the edge
