use preon or royal cap, find a spot in which enemies dont go (like outside the playable area) and just spam ranged attack on boss until it dies. then repeat on second stage. gets easier if wisps dont spawn on these levels. can still be done with wisps, just easier if there are none

Flawlessing a prismatic trial would be reasonably attainable were the game still in 2d. With 3d and flying ranged enemies there's too much going on for any one strategy or skill level to actually work. Even if the game is seeded, there's no reason to block off an alt skill behind something that RNG-heavy/grindy.

I'll admit, @heady plume no one is actually making me unlock this. Your method is probably the best or only for today's trial. The fact remains that it's an unreasonable requirement for something that could fundamentally change the way we play a character, and being completely flawless for two entire stages is not something most people are going to find encouraging.

If I knew what the new "special" on the Merc did, I might ignore it. But I don't know, and people won't know. And I'm not patient at all lol

And yeah @tough belfry this is a development Discord facilitating serious discussion of the game, so cheating shouldn't even be brought up.

i agree that the challenge is really hard. But i think having a hard challenge that a lot of people wont be able to unlock is fine. There is no rule about making challenges being easy. and the few who can unlock it can have something that they can actually feel proud of for earning it.
What is not cool is having something as important as an actual ability being locked behind it.
Having a skin or something cosmetic as a reward would be fine.

I went for all of them and basically just kited enemies. stay away from them when you can. preon and fuel cell are the main things, but also you need 6 ish brooches and the gem thing helps

the biggest thing with wisps is always have either lshift or r up, because otherwise if they target you you are pretty much done for. try not to have lshift and r on cooldown at the same time when in open spaces

grab all white items on stage one, go into cave on right on stage 2, print off 6 brooches, go get more brooches by looting all the crates (2 or so have brooches in them), get preon and fuel cell, hurt boss a bit, kill a wisp for more brooch hp, hit boss more, double preon.

Just take it slow. Assuming you get to stage 2 with 2 brochs and all the whites and bettleguard+2 drones. Kill the timy thingy near you and book it towards the broach printer. Kill whatever gets low, and then make your way to the fuel cell killing lemarians/whisps along the way with your shift/R. Let the drones/bettleggard handle any bison or golems, too risky to try and take em on yourself imo. Grabe the hoof from the chest near the second time crystal, and the speed drink from the small iron box on the way towards the teleporter. You get one last time crystal near it to blow up, and then you're in the home stretch, activate the teleporter, and either kill any nearby whisps/lumarians to refresh the sheild, or R/shift though barrels atop the square. Once you beat up the boss a little bit, back off and prenon him, he should do his tendrils move and is ez to prenon again for the win.

the place where the golem spawns on rallypoint, right next to him is a fuel cell

shoot the first preon at dunestrider, and then whittle down his shield just enough so that you'll kill him with the second blast

first and second direct hits will leave him with ~1k hp

#

just get rid of like 1k hp from his actual life and then execute him with preon

#

btw for this to work appropriately

you wanna leave the first stage within 3 minutes and 30 seconds

before it ramps up to the second difficulty stage
