Obviously not like. 20 different items with challenges like streaking prismatic trials for a week or something.

different objectives / modifiers, character specific leaderboards and/or lock 1 specific character per trial, make items faster to get from chests / terminals / whatever to make routing more interesting and viable rather than just rushing teleporter pretty much every trial, have longer trials that have more stages which rotate every week or so on top of regular 3 day trials, do something about rng in terms of random crits or runald/kjaro procs making runs entirely reliant on rng

Longer runs mean item buying times really don't matter that much, and will get way more use

It's mostly routing what to do, and then grinding until you get a more or less "perfect run"

In my run as Arti I opt to go to the top of s1 to get backup mag and preon from timed chest, then straight to teleporter. On s2 I just go straight for teleporter

You can obviously go faster if you use Rex though, as Cabbage is 10s away from sub 2

get capsule, use your abilities to get on top of the wreck and get energy drink, jump down and get preon and capsule and smash crystal, start heading to glasses, kill 2-3 beetles, get glasses, take a right to exit, get capsule, smash crystals and do the dance of death with the birds until you can get both missile drones, then go upstairs and get the uke. if you have time and money get the second uke, or just do the boss and get the second uke after

I also made sure to get my prion nearly ready when i get fuel cells. And waited till i got 3 charges in a safe spot to fire them
