My theory to how it works is when you fall on a slope you slide a liiiiiitle bit, but if you land on a corner of a steeper slope and slide on to it something goes wacky and it flings you

Does your dunestrider go into tank mode? Where he sucks

Yeah, you manipulate his attacks so he doesn't go down

If you stand close enough to the dunestrider he won't do the attack where he becomes taller

#

You keep him from going up the entire fight, up until he is about to begin his tank move

If you do it correctly he won't ever get damage resistance or extra heals

I found a really easy setup for it this trial, there's a marking on the ground, sprint shoot all 4 of your fires when you're next to it and it will be perfectly timed

and I get that tasty nano boost
