I get it really clean, just make sure you jump more to the left so the hill in front of second crystal doesnt slow your jump. Then when running to tele jump up on the log and you can hit a couple M1's before you run off

Yeah, I used to pick it up in earlier versions of the route, but all it did was cost me time as I never hit lvl4 anyways and I hit lvl3 by a good margin
Also, using a crowbar might be viable if it brings the bisons down low enough. Tried it a couple of times but got frustrated since you can't stun the bisons with nano and just opted to use the more consistant strat

If you're just trying to get the challenge for an item unlock go engie, clear all the crystals map1 get some levels and buy all the items. You should clear no problems and can use the shield for the laser if its still a problem

MUL-T has pretty much infinite range, good mobility and good damage

Artificier is pure damage, but can use the crystals as boosts, so if the crystals have good placements you can jump around to pick up items and move towards teleporter while destroying crystals
Yeah, you can do it with all characters, but Artificier is the most effective at it because of the increased knockback she gets compared to the rest
All you have to do is stand inside the pink circle when it explodes and it will send you flying in the direction your character is standing in
If you jump before it explodes you get a lot more vertical air aswell

It usually isn't very difficult, but the first crystal is probably a bit inside of the ground or something. Standing at the tip of the crystal seems to be the easiest way to get a boost from the first one, but it's extremely inconsistant

Then stage 2 will basically reroll every item inside every interactable
So you could go out of your way to get a key on stage 1 to get a preon accumulator in stage 2

I can see if I can get an example for you guys. You do place it on the ground, but if you stand far enough away from the brass contraption it flies closer to the ground
Therefore you can trigger the ice wall instantly when you place it, and in my experience it can actually kill the brass contraption like it does with other enemies
What I was trying to say is that ice wall works on the brass contraption. I just worded it in a pretty stupid way 🙃
In my experience it works a lot more consistently if you place it under the brass contraption, otherwise it might just do damage and not finish off the enemy

Nice man! An age old trick that you can use for snipes is to tape a dot to the middle of your monitor
Had to use it for one of the previous trial because of insane nano bomb snipes, and it really helped consistancy by a lot

It's a challenge where you try to beat two specific stages as fast as you can while destroying atleast 3 of the crystals that are placed around the map
Every 3 days the trial changes to a set of new maps
All items, enemies and bosses are the same through every playthrough
If you enjoy speedrunning this is probably a gamemode you are going to enjoy 😃
There's also an item unlock when you complete your first trial
