Because the third m1 does the most damage
So by canceling the 3rd m1 with an m2, you're losing out on 175% damage (I think)
Numbers are prob off, but it's a big difference

use the preon's zap damage to boost with the 3rd crystal in stage two, aimed at beetles spawn location, the boost sets you onto the tp and you activate it, and the preon hits the beetle as it spawns

the first crystal dies to a dot so I can sprint
but I always charge a slight bit to aim during the jump to the second so it dies to direct damage

during first jump you can hit the high crystal with icewall before tagging the second crystal and you only need 3 fireballs + right click to kill it
it also looks dope
you could probably tag it with a left click/right click while waiting for the preon too but the angle is kind of odd

2 is i got to her before the first tick of difficulty
