Like as you're running, you should have a volley of 8 shooting off towards that crystal, and as you load up your next bunch, you touch the equipment, and shoot it over the ledge at the crystal

There's a lizard that spawns near the crystal usually, if you're imprecise with your landmines(like I was at first) then he can actually save the run by setting them off for you

Otherwise you have to hit the mines on the crystal, because the lizard doesn't always spawn there
