3. Next, locate the folder that your userprofiles are saved in. This is typically in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(ACCOUNTNUMBER)\632360\remote\UserProfiles"
4. There should be an xml file in there with a bunch of random characters, i.e 2919dc8a-fd4c-4c3c-bd7d-8aeeac67b831.xml. Open the .xml file in Notepad.
5. Go to https://pastebin.com/BQkjgRrK and copy the contents of the Pastebin INTO the .xml file, REPLACING ALL THE EXISTING CONTENT. Press Save.
6. Reopen the game in Steam.

My game will have a longer frametime when picking up an item for up to 1 second depending on how long it's been since I last picked up an item. If I'm spamming a printer, there is no delay after the first one, but waiting any longer than that causes this to happen. Framerates are consistent 120 otherwise.

My game also lags massively in larger maps especially at later stages of a run even tho I have 6 gigs of free ram and have all of my graphical settings in and out of the game set to optimise performance. Hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone else is mentioning this or not, but my RoR 2 is suddenly capped at 20 FPS in fullscreen all of the sudden? I remember finding a solution on some other game that I had this problem with, but going into windowed mode does fix the FPS. I also hope this is the right place for this post, but right now I'm mostly just confused more than I am having a problem with this..?
By the way, the other solution I was referring to involved Windows 10 trying to, "improve" fullscreen, which actually lowered the frame rate if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with now.

it's not related to the models loading. i've been looking into it and found out it's because every time you pick up an item, it writes it to your user profile to increase the number you've picked up. the frame waits until the write is complete, and sometimes it takes longer on HDDs. when i disable saving at that time, the stutters are completely gone for me. i'm seeing if i can find a more appropriate solution right now.

i did have all settings at max, and i think i fixed it by setting fps lock to 120 (sadly could not select 165hz)
i think the game is trying to push as much fps as possible so locking it gave some free memory i guess to work on the item pickup issue.

Me and a friend tried to play the game together with the "start a private server" option. I invited him, he joined, but we could not start. Pressing the ready button didn't seem to work, nothing happened. Neither did the selected characters in the background load. Any fix in the works for the fire lvl(4)? The frame drops are the worst on that level. For some reason, the game...but especially that level, underclocks my gpu and only uses 30% while i get terrible fps drops

you probably won't, it just means that when the cloud is available again you'll have to use local files and let it upload those

I haven’t been able to launch the game since I bought it on launch day - just get a black screen then a “not responding” windows message. Tried updating graphics drivers, reinstalled the game, and verified steam files but still no luck

This always happens to me late-game after about an hour of playing. I start off with 100+ fps and after an hour it dips down to 40fps and during boss battles its 9-15fps. highest core at about 70% and gpu at 20%. My temperatures are fine for both.

@small sandal Mayhaps the entity count, try turning down your corpse count so that it cleans up the dead bodies after a set amount hit the ground

So I think i have a unique issue with cloud syncing. I can only really run and play the game using Nvidia geforce now, and im running into the issue of the early access disclaimer button not working. I dont have this issue on my actual computer but its unplayable now through geforce now

A friend of mine has similar hardware, he runs into stuff like this quite frequently. I have an AMD Radeon G-Card and don't see these issues, so, maybe your hardware isn't as compatible with the game as it should be?

hey, im haveing alot of truble with my game, it freezes up alot, it's bareble in singelplayer because when i freeze up thew whole game freezes but in multiplayer it usaly means i die, and it hapens evry five minutes or so :/
i'm running a fairly powerfull machin with a gtx 2080, i5 8600k, 8 RAM

Could Aurelionite have problems counting how many pillars you have used?
I think I used all the pillars in the map I could see, but the boss remains immune
Mind you, I used all the pillars when I entered the map and ate about 1/3 of the boss's health, then the pillars went back to normal and after then the boss remained immune.
edit nvm forget, i forgot to look at the objectives list and apparently i prayed at 6 pillars only, probably missing one
