[1.4] GritArena freezes at the start of the second battle

The first fight plays out normally. After the second holotamer's flavor text, the battle doesn't start and instead our two characters stand there breathing without the sound effect indicating the start of a battle or transition into the battle. This happened both times I've tried to play GritArena and both times the same thing happened. ign Desperado id#56017
