I am not sure how to frame this issue other than newer instances of Ubuntu require libssl1 to be installed to use libzip5 but it uses libssl3. Is there a way to download and use these libraries directly in the same src folder or project folder instead?
This would also help when having to use new cloud instances when packages aren't installed.

You will almost certainly find it easier to compile it than to cobble together the libzip and libssl versions required to run the provided executables on Ubuntu.
