took me like an hour or smth this is a massive step up from deco objects 2 also I feel like this is js a waste of time cause copying doesnt rly help creators, taking inspiration does though

Studies (which are a form of copying) can help actually.

Recall the point of these exercises is to get used to placing objects down in the right positions, and to train your eye in recreating details from images.

Both of those are skills that will be necessary for not just the grade 1.5 exercises (where you're asked to do so while working with objects from scratch), but also for any sort of reference use in general.

Seeing as your submission does need a lot of work I do think this is a skill you should practice after all.
