Please be patient; your post should be graded <t:1774203699:R>. You can do other exercises in the meantime.
If your post isn't graded after some time, feel free to ping an Exercise Grader using the -request command.
you are missing a green line behind in the middle, and the spike structure should be solid and not hollow
these exercises help you see what objects can be used for what purpose, so you know what to do when you start creating your own levels i think
@ebon horizon
Please change the details the grader asked you to change, and send updates inside this post. You should ping a grader when you've made changes.
???
I guess but hopefully 1.5 isnt just copying
yeah
like i understand grade 1 is just copying stuff
the further your grade the more freeform the exercises
yeah thats better, the only reason im here is to improve my use of colors in designs (being able to use a lot of colors in one design while still making it look good) and my atmosphere stuff cause im a glow creator
if you want to skip exercises you can apply in #1470567801969184893 and show your work
nah I did before
i was put in grade 1
what green line are u talking about?
@winter pumice
this line
but I have it on a layer
I mean i could mess around with the z layers but that would mess up a lot of things
it should be showing above idk honestly
Studies (which are a form of copying) can help actually.
Recall the point of these exercises is to get used to placing objects down in the right positions, and to train your eye in recreating details from images.
Both of those are skills that will be necessary for not just the grade 1.5 exercises (where you're asked to do so while working with objects from scratch), but also for any sort of reference use in general.
Seeing as your submission does need a lot of work I do think this is a skill you should practice after all.
I suggest you slow down, remake each detail one at a time, and pay close attention to what's in the reference image.
