What properties of the gamemode made you choose it for that section?
spider; i chose spider cuz rather than ball, the insta tps and little interactions between the black orb and jump pads make it more energetic and engaging
wave; in every drop there should be at least one "hard" part, in which i chose wave as it is mainly regarded as the hardest gamemode.
ufo; generally speaking its an all-rounder, but i like the gravity flipping portal spams widely included in ufo-drop parts of many levels
robot; esp since the level is nearing the end of its drop, robot and cube make for simpler and less energetic gp (imo at least). the simpler inputs and open space fits an end of the drop/level
What properties of the other gamemodes made you not choose them instead?
although cube is versatile and so is the ufo, the spider makes for tighter and faster gameplay
both the robot and the ball are considered "slow" in terms of gameplay wise, so i went with wave instead.
same goes for the swingcopter. i could've gone for the ship, but i chose the ufo in this case. both are good imo
the swingcopter imo is something within the predrop, and the spider isn't suitable for the end of a drop, thus i chose the robot instead especially for that little ending sequence with the orbs
