Level title: My last world

The idea: A platformer level delving deep into the creator’s mind, focusing on his deepest desires, emotions, and ideas, including parts from the creators life both online and offline. A section of the level also goes into the creator’s fears and also their grief.

This level takes place as a platformer with an upgrade tree system that allows you to progress through different stages by buying upgrades with points that make point production faster. Upon obtaining enough points, the player is prompted to purchase an upgrade that resets their points but transports them into the next area. The different areas all have different currency and special ways of earning them.

Area 1: genesis
Currency: conciousness
The player wakes up in a cloudy “voidscape” and is greeted by the creator and slowly upgrades themselves while the creator slowly teaches the player the setting and mechanics of the level. Points are obtained only passively in this stage. To clear this area, an upgrade worth 1 million conciousness must be purchased to ascend into the next area.

Area 2: dreamscapes
Currency: lucidity
The player enters the creator’s dreamscape, filled with clouds and a warm sunset. This is where the creators mind is displayed and the creator tells the player about how his brain works and processes things. This area sets the player up for processing later content. To earn points here (lucidity in this case), they must collect orbs that lower the player’s gravity, allowing collection of higher orbs while also obtaining lucidity. This is also required for the access to purchase upgrades to increase passive lucidity income. To clear this area, the player must jump to the very top of the dreamscape’s clouds and by purchasing an upgrade that costs 1 million lucidity, then perform one final jump which leads upward into the next area.

Character limit lol:

Area 3: brainstorm
Currency: enlightenment
This area goes through the creator’s ideas, both in real life and in gd. Some parts include their methods to approach real-life problems, such as math and english assignments at school, and also scrapped level ideas. To earn the currency required for upgrades, enlightenment passively comes, but to actually earn enough to purchase upgrades, you must solve some of the creator’s math problems or trivia or play some of the scrapped level gimmicks in the gd section. To clear the area, they must light a lightbulb placed in the center area by contributing 10 million enlightenment into it over time. The lightbulb will flash the player into the next area.

Area 4: desire
Currency: motivation
This part, the player starts with 100 motivation but slowly loses motivation over time and needs to gain it back before reaching 0, which then the player must restart the section entirely. The player must buy upgrades to earn more motivation as the deduction grows faster over time. This area also shows the creator’s desires for dopamine, such as doomscrolling, or their desire for love (they’re a gd player) and their desire for other things that may or may not be benificial to the player. Surviving for 15 minutes here automatically clears the area, but only after all motivation is cleared randomly, leading to the next area.

Area 5: grief
Currency: sadness
This part of the level is hell-themed. The creator is now physically represented as a glowing orb-like eye and touching it gives you sadness. You start with a million sadness and have to remove it by passively reducing it with upgrades while avoiding the eye, which will give you sadness. Upon reaching 1000 sadness, the next area occurs.

Area 6: depression.
Currency: hope
This part looks just like area 1, but everything is more glitched. Hope comes in amounts in decimals under 1 to show that hope comes in small amounts during times of depression. After reaching 1 hope, you can purchase an upgrade that exponentially increases it, and the creator appears and promptly thanks the player for ridding them of their depression and bids farewell to the player. The player then is allowed to complete the level.

This level describes a creator’s mind the easy way, and others can experience their demotivation and depression without having to experience it for themselves. This level is inspired by cell to singularity as well.

it's a really elaborate idea and I commend you for writing something this long

#

but unfortunately for this exercise you have to write four ideas

#
Brainstorming: Ask some of your friends for level ideas based on the prompt "Planet" (you may also ask in the server as well).
SCAMPER: Use one of the methods in SCAMPER to make an idea based on this level - for instance, in the form "Deadlocked, but...".
Ramsey Method: Research the word "Star" and come up with an idea based on what you find. Include a link to the info you found.```
#

what you wrote would pass for concentration no doubt

#

but you'd have to come up with the other three ideas (brainstorming, SCAMPER, Ramsey)

#

they don't have to be as detailed
