Section 1
- I used the ufo to sync to the song since the game mode is one of the best for this. The songs punchy beats go well with the ufo because when you jump it immediately shoots up, making the visuals sync very well and the click pattern
- Cube on the drop of the song feels a little underwhelming and basic. This is probably because many levels especially the main ones use it in the beginning and people are used to that. Spider is great for fast beats and the style of gameplay I was going for did not match this
Section 2
- I used wave because its really well for simple click patterns and it creates some more variety than just keeping the player on the beat
- I did not use ball because for basic gameplay it feels a little too slow for what im trying to do. I did not use robot because like the cube, it does not feel like a on the drop of the song type of game mode
Section 3
- I added ship because it adds variety to your level and does not make it fell the same like the other parts. I feel as every part in your level should be memorable and this little step can possibly help it get there
- Ship make you feel more free more than swing copter and people are more comfortable with ship. i did not pick ufo because I have already used it
Section 4
- I added robot because it makes you grounded, having the sense that your slowing down and ending the level. This definitely does not happen in all levels but if you have note switched to cube or robot in a while and finally do, it can feel this way.
- I did not pick swing copter because it does not seem like its the best ending gamemode. For spider, I feel that its great at pretty fast or slow beats and this song is like in the middle of them.
